You'll oversee crucial administrative tasks, coordinate with customs and our warehouse, ensuring smooth arrival and offloading of EU trailers into the UK. Location: Nuneaton, UK
Hours: Monday to Friday (12:00 to 20:00 or 14:00 to 22:00 - flexible)
What will you be doing?
* Managing and executing a wide range of administrative tasks to support day-to-day operations.
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Collaborating with team members to provide support and guidance on administrative tasks, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Assisting in training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and performance.
* Extracting of data in way of EDI (full training provided)
* Liaising with HMRC/Customs on the arrival of EU inbound trailers.
* Reporting to Schenker Europe on non conforming trailers.
About You
- Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Proven ability to provide an efficient and proactive service to all customers and service providers.
- Strong customer focus, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and service providers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
