ROLE SUMMARY

This role will work closely with senior business stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and other organizations within Pfizer, act as a strategic partner and drive performance tracking and reporting for commercial performance, including product performance outcome reporting, omnichannel engagement activities, executive dashboard, and reporting, etc. This role will also lead the efforts in standardizing and centralizing the commercial reporting eco-system and help implement industry best practices in performance reporting and insights generation processes.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Commercial Performance Reporting & Tracking

• Provide thought partnership in building and standardizing commercial reporting eco-system  

• Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to organization wide performance reporting, including executive reporting.  

• Lead identification of information needs and development of project plans to address those needs

• Develop and execute creation of in-house dataset to drive patient and HCP insights into infrastructure of care

• Connect reporting insights together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations to senior leadership

 Collaboration with other Analytical teams

• Lead dialogue to adapt global strategies and standardization of performance metrics and tracking.   

• Actively contribute to advancement of capabilities through thought leadership; seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues making use of knowledge sharing platform

• Alignment with other BAI teams to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders

• Partner with other analytic functions to advance the use of novel data sources and reporting, including RWD, Data Science, etc.

Vendor / Offshore Resource Management

• Ensure team commissioning and contracting through preferred vendors

• Accountable for team meeting compliance and Corporate SOP obligations of all primary market research projects

• Manage budgets associated with assigned activities

Technical Skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Strong Analytical, coding skills (such as: Python, R, SQL, etc.), MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Strong reporting and analytical skills to be able to synthesize and validate various inputs, and ability to communicate “the story” to commercial leadership

• Known subject matter expert for quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.

• Extensive experience in the design and management of secondary data analytics.

• Previous demonstrated experience in using innovative techniques to monitor, simulate and analyze complex data sets preferred.

• Ability to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process.

• Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, deal with ambiguity, and lead teams through complex and challenging cross-functional projects.

• Recognized expertise and coach to others on connecting, integrating, and synthesizing analysis into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive clear strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making.

• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner with the capacity to quickly establish relationships of trust, credibility, and be seen as a driving partner to senior leadership

• Ability to identify, prioritize and describe relevant caveats and uncertainties in data, including how they relate to the business question and broader strategic priorities.

• Previous demonstrated Business / Financial acumen.

Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area

• Bachelor’s degree required.  

• Masters preferred in a quantitative discipline

• Analytics, statistics and/or database knowledge and experience (using tools, applications, platforms, etc.)

What’s the role?

What You’ll Be Doing

Capital Markets and Direct Financial Services provides integrated services and products aimed at serving investors as well as corporate and institutional clients globally. The Capital Markets business is a recognized leader in the industry specializing in investment banking advisory services, corporate lending and research. In addition, the Direct Financial Services arm provides alternate services and solutions such  as direct investing, direct banking and unique international payment solutions. The successful applicant will provide Business Management support to Global Markets and Direct Financial Services (GM & DFS). The role will act as a liaison between the businesses (front office) and the rest of the Bank to ensure all business strategies, initiatives, projects, operational issues are addressed and resolved. The role will work and support the Head of GM & DFS.

The incumbent will be the primary individual responsible for Business Management functions across the Global Markets & DFS business. The incumbent will have a number of direct reports that will be responsible for business management support across their respective portfolios. The incumbent will be responsible for working with and supporting the priorities of the Head of Global Markets and DFS.  Business Management liaises with the businesses (front office) and across CIBC to ensure all business strategies & initiatives, projects, and regulatory & compliance issues, are addressed and resolved. This includes ensuring audits are managed and issues resolved, controls are in place and effective, and Polices & Procedures are operational and current.

How You’ll Succeed

• Strategic & Business Planning -Support and contribute to strategic and business planning, supporting GM & DFS Business Managers and Head of GM & DFS; Partner with infrastructure groups to implement/execute strategic and business plans; Project manage new initiatives, including Change Initiative Risk Assessments (CIRAs).

• Product Onboarding and Risk Delegation - Ensure that Risk Delegations and Authorized Products Lists are up-to-date across GM & DFS; Oversight of the Capital Markets Authorized Product Onboarding Process.

• Governance & Compliance - Ensure the completion and accuracy of all GM & DFS Basel Trading Strategies; Ensure the completion and accuracy of all GM & DFS Policy & Procedure documents; Support Supervision and Controls on any compliance, regulatory, or related issues, as requested; Develop and implement improvements to internal procedures and practices. Specifically ensure effective and documented internal controls are in place and evidenced by policies and procedures specific to the individual business activities. Oversee governance and compliance functions/issues on behalf of the GM & DFS business, including - Ensure compliance with Change Initiative Risk Assessments (CIRAs) with respect to new initiatives; Support execution of new contracts and agreements with vendors and partners in collaboration with Corporate Services, Legal, and other internal stakeholders; Accountable to ensure the completion of all GM & DFS governance functions –User System Access, Contract Review, etc.; Oversight of the Business Continuity Management plans and milestones as Accountable Officer for GM & DFS; Support GM & DFS business management team, front office and internal partners in the implementation of new compliance and governance requirements; Management, oversight of audits and related follow-up items including coordinating and responding to auditor/regulator requests, findings and reports; Working with Capital Markets Governance & Control teams to ensure suitable and effective controls are in place and help manage and support the coordination of the deficiency management process across GM & DFS;

• Finance/MIS - Work with business, Business Managers and/or Finance Business Support to develop. Management and Board Presentations; Quarterly Operational Risk Dashboard and analysis; and other presentations.

• Cross-Functional Relationships - Strong interpersonal and communication skills allowing the incumbent to work alongside the business, including Head of GM & DFS, on a day-to-day basis; Establish and maintain effective relationships with partners in CIBC, including, Operations, Finance, Risk Management, Technology, Legal and Compliance and other corporate governance groups as required to help address and resolve day-to-day issues as well as deliver on business initiatives; and Maintain regular dialogue with regional business managers and their teams as required on global initiatives and issues.

Who You Are

• You possess knowledge of Financial Products (products and processes) with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in the Financial Services industry is an asset;

• You have university degree in Business Management/Accounting Designation. CA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent, is preferred;

• You have strong problem solving, analytical, judgment and change implementation capabilities;

• You have the ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with the business, as well as peers, and wide variety of stakeholders (Finance, Middle Office, Risk Management, Technology, etc.);

• You are a strong communicator. Strong oral and written communications skills are required for contacts with all management levels within all areas of the Bank;

How You’ll Succeed

• Partnership - Assist Premium Edge Representatives with the completion of administrative tasks. Focus on new accounts, documentation, and funding of Premium Edge accounts. • Maintains records and documents as required.

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Document Services Supervisor will perform oversight responsibilities for Epiq personnel including overseeing the Document Processing activities, workflow, and ensuring shift coverage. The position will provide expert knowledge, technical support, and training, when necessary, to all direct reports and specialists. This position will work closely with the manager, who will serve as the liaison for all stakeholders using the services of the department. This position is located at an Epiq facility or a client office. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision to the team and assist with performance management related duties
• Coordinate coverage in the event of unplanned absences, scheduled time off, and overtime and escalate to the manager as needed, including notifying them of any operations related issues
• Review customer-satisfaction survey results and reworks; provide timely feedback and monitor issues through to remediation; ensure team completes requisite trainings
• Assist the manager in reviewing assigned jobs, researching job tickets, resolving grievances and issues raised by lawyers, paralegals, and other job requestors
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and a high level of technical proficiency with the automation, specialized applications, and upgrades troubleshoot document and/or technical inquiries
• Onboard new team members and ensure all training is complete and mentor is assigned
• Document and promote best practices
• Help develop and maintain principal user profiles
• Test and troubleshoot new applications and upgrade releases
• Assist customers with questions or problems via email, telephone, or remote computer access. Provide support for customers in resolving document and other application problems referred by the IT Help Desk and customers

• Serve as an ambassador of the services available from the department

Qualifications & Characteristics:

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Market Data Business System Analyst, your primary role will be ensuring collection of information, accurate requirement gathering, data analysis, documentation of information, and presentation of findings to advance initiatives and ensure project success.  You’ll be required to work independently, with minimal guidance, and collaborate with internal CIBC stakeholders (Investment Advisors, directors, resources from the US, local lines of business, Legal, Risk Management, etc.) and external parties (regulatory agencies, supplier organizations).

An Asset is you have experience using ServiceNow, SQL and knowledge of Market Data Services.

In partnership with Canadian Banking partners, the Consultant will lead the analysis and support of various business activities for the Business Effectiveness team within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) to deliver high quality reports, processes and procedures. Business activities within scope include  Business Continuity Management (BCM), suspense and expense account reconciliation, facility access reviews, managing required attestations and authorized signatory list, CMTT/BMTT training, and monitoring and oversight activities for Personal Trading Policy adherence.
