Asia-Pacific Corporate Banking Department
We are now seeking an experienced professional to join the team.
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
· Initiating Project Finance marketing activities in the Asia Pacific region
· Providing lead support to senior team members in financial advisory and major debt arrangements
· Preparing of pitch books, advisory reports and marketing materials to promote business in both advisory and lending functions, and presenting analysis and findings to clients
· Developing relationships and maintaining strong networks with clients for new or future business opportunities
· Conducting relevant due diligence to mitigate credit risks and preparing credit applications to obtain credit approvals by coordinating with various related stakeholders
· Performing cash flow analysis to examine robustness of project economics in a range of scenarios as well as proposing of appropriate debt pricing levels to manage risk profile and adhere to profitability guidelines
What you should have:
· At least a Degree/ Master Degree in Business, Banking & Finance or Engineering with a minimum of seven years of relevant working experience
· Good understanding of principles of project finance, execution of projects and good knowledge of Export Credit Agency related finance
· Experience in Power projects such as (i) gas & coal fired IPP and also any renewable energy, (ii) water treatment, waste to energy and other utilities, and (iii) other transportation and social infrastructure, and with coverage in the South East Asia highly preferred
· Willing to travel to Asia region when required
· Ability to communicate in another Asia language such as Chinese Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Melayu would be advantageous for communication with clients in the respective countries
· Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese as the incumbent is expected to read and understand documents as well as respond and present in these two languages
