About the role

About the Role

The Director of Channel Sales, APAC will report to our Head of Channel, carrying a primary focus on building pipeline and channel revenue with existing channel partners. • Develop strategic sales plans to target and sign new business.
• Create and contribute to the Sales Pitch in collaboration with the Delivery, Experience Services, Resource Management and Sales Department.

Leading the Global Launch Readiness team, Brand Plan Creation & Leading the Project:

• Lead the development and execution of key marketing strategy with accompanying initiatives and tactics
• Lead the discussion with Global 3M (Marketing, Medical Affairs and Pricing & Market Access) and complete the brand plan as comprehensive product strategy
• Lead the global launch readiness project for responsible product(s) by managing all sub-project status and lead successful launch on schedule
• Lead Global product portfolio management, including business objectives, product positioning, key selling messages, collaborate with Commercial Lead teams and manage the global product strategy
• Gain cross-functional, regional and global alignment on all regional product strategies for each early & late-stage product within the R&D portfolio, supported by detailed revenue and incremental Profit and Loss (P&L) forecasts for viable early & late-stage assets in targeted markets
• Provide commercial input to maximize asset value by guiding clinical development plans for assigned assets within R&D portfolio for all regions, based on market research and analysis
• Measure and report performance of global/regional marketing activities, gain insight and report results against targeted goals
• Partner with other members of the marketing team, Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and R & D to effectively communicate appropriate product, market, clinical, competitive information to maximize product awareness and, post-launch, sales results
• Create physician and patient-targeted global common educational materials, including sales aids, disease education materials, product websites and videos as global marketing.

Tactics & Implementation

• Own and manage relationships with Communications and Advertising partners to develop the brand book (e.g. key visual, messages) and prepare the strategic promotion plan, within assigned budget and timelines
• Test messages and materials with physicians and other key stakeholders, in market research, at advisory boards, and in 1:1 meeting, to ensure that materials are relevant, informative, and communicate key information about the product
• Partner with Head of Global Marketing to develop and deliver content for periodic business review meetings to senior managements
• Lead evaluation and monitoring of the competitive environment inGlobal in relevant therapeutic areas to support R&D product profile development and commercial planning activities and recommend adjustments to marketing plans when necessary
• Collaborate with Finance to track spending and review monthly accruals
• Drive the contracting process with external vendors to execute projects with third party vendors as needed (e.g. graphic designer) on time and within budget
• Project manages all required collateral. This includes, but is not limited to, product sell sheets, sales training materials, physician training materials, video production, etc.
• Function with Partner as strategic point of contact for trade shows, conferences and/or courses
• Execute promotional strategy for medical meetings, which will include the development of a new medical booth in collaboration with cross-functional team and agency partners
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to assess the current business environment and make recommendations. Continuously improve product marketing effectiveness
• Recommend, initiate, and participate in actions to achieve optimal brand competitiveness in packaging labeling, pricing, technical development, clinical research, and production
• Cultivate relationships with key customers including healthcare providers, patients and Advisory Board(s)
