We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Sales Manager for our clients' main dealer site in the Taunton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a General Sales Manager to join a superb dealer group, a strong brand, working in a busy, state of the art site. We are looking for General Sales Managers with a strong track record in both new and used car sales.

Sales Manager role:
Working closely with the senior management team; you will managing the Sales Executive team to a strong sales performance on a monthly basis. Driving the sales in the department through processes and training the team to work in a professional manner.
- Making sure the team offer strong customer service, working with the team to maximise sales while promoting a strong profit per unit and working closely with the finance team to secure the best deal for the customer
-Controlling the used car stock to make sure you have the right vehicles for your market area
-Making sure all online adverts are done to company & manufacturer guidelines.

Role Requirements
- Its essential you have experience as a Sales Manager within the motor trade - at least 2 years experience within the role
- Good understanding of both new and used vehicle sales
- Ideally experienced running a large sales team, highly successfully.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence

Sales Development Manager
South West – to encompass Bath, Bristol and Taunton.

Internally this role is referred to as Area Development Manger - as an ADM you will be sharing our products and expert service with a specific focus on new customers as well as collaborating with existing customers to support and develop on-going relationships.

The successful candidate will have transferrable experience in this sector, ideally as a Sales Representative or equivalent. Previous experience in a retail / sales environment in our sector
Knowledge of paints, protective coatings and decorating sundries for either Trade or Retail markets would be beneficial
An enthusiasm for sales with the ability to build relationships and rapport easily with suppliers and customers
Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels
The ability and confidence to independently manage your own time and set targets for achievement
A current driving licence is essential, and you will live within the business area

Your responsibilities will include validating and registering fire and water risk assessments, monitoring compliance activities, and engaging with customers on housing compliance health and safety issues. Your work will ensure the safety and wellbeing of their communities and enhance the client's reputation through diligent compliance practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage contracts, liaise with customers, and maintain up-to-date compliance certifications across various systems.
• Handle technical and legal administration, process financial reconciliations, and prepare KPIs for compliance projects.
