About the role:
ThisMarketing Managerrole is a newly created and pivotal role which will see you spearheading our client's marketing activities, developing their brand, and driving sales growth.
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a talented marketing team, working closely with the current Marketing Executive.
You will oversee and support leads generated from various marketing initiatives as well as manage and develop their brand in alignment with business insights and requirements. Executing the marketing strategy and develop a marketing plan to achieve business goals within budget constraints, ensuring all marketing activities deliver maximum value for money and are evaluated accurately
Otherkey duties will include:
- Provide monthly board reports on marketing performance and ROI.
- Lead on creative briefs and projects through copywriting, creative development, copy editing, and proofreading.
- Plan, implement, and lead creative campaign management, collaborating with design and digital agencies.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies to ensure high-quality design and production.
- Oversee and optimise the website and social media channels to attract target customers, as well as manage social media presence to increase engagement and generate leads.
- Develop and manage an annual calendar of key campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of core competitors and their key attributes.
The role offers hybrid working, although initially during induction you will be required to be in the offer 4/5 days per week, then the option to work up to 2 days at home.
About you:
You are a creative, innovative marketer with a minimum of five years' experience in a fast-paced marketing team, ideally with both B2B and B2C experience. A proven track record of lead generation and a drive to grow sales leads. You excel at managing suppliers and agencies across design, print, and digital disciplines. Have strong project and campaign management skills enabling you to prioritise multiple projects effectively. You are proficient in evaluating, measuring, and interpreting business data, and have excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills. As a confidentMarketing Manager, you possess persuasive and influential skills at all levels. You have experience in people management and the ability to develop team members, inspiring them to think outside the box and delivering innovative marketing solutions.
