• Managing top accounts for Corporate, Wholesale and Inbound.

• Develop working plans to meet targets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage staff performance and build effective teams to achieve sales objectives
• Maximise incremental sales through effective training and staff development
• Daily communication with staff providing recognition and constructive redirection
• Provide continuous training and education daily
• Maintain accurate sales reports
• Work closely with management and department leaders
• Manage net promoter score and ensure a smooth customer journey

Job Requirements:

• A full, valid clean driving licence, with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is required
• Management of direct customer contact, employee relations, budget and P&L review
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across the organisation with peers, staff and management, both written and verbal
• Strong team-oriented leadership skills and proven track record in a leadership role
• Ability to attract, evaluate, coach, and advance staff to create an effective team
• Working knowledge Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point.

As Reservations manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue through the effective selling of room reservations and other ancillary revenue to our guests via the telephone, e-mail or other channels deemed appropriate by the company.

This position is responsible for developing sales initiatives and strategies to achieve sales goals and enhance productivity and profits within the Conference & Events (C&E) sectors.  They will lead the team to explore new business opportunities whilst maintaining good relationships with established clients.

Common Accountabilities

• Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how your role relates to your area.
• Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support area decisions.
• Makes Recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
• Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

Specific Accountabilities

• Participate in the preparation of long-term sales plan, keeping pipeline up to date in Salesforce.
• Knowledge of UK and Ireland Market
• Represent and be the expert for hotels in these regions.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships.
• Drive full sales cycle of hotel content and solutions (GDS, Leisure Connect, AVH and Aggregators) through all points of sale, in close collaboration with Account Managers and Commercial Leaders.
• Attend Commercial Team Meeting
• Target existing Amadeus GDS Travel Agency Agencies, as well as non-Amadeus Agencies directly or through 3rd Party platforms and tools
• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to represent Amadeus Hotel at conferences and trade shows.
• Collaborate with other internal teams and stakeholders like product and service teams to feedback customer requirements to improve our offering.
• Actively participate in the overall marketing activities and programs and contribute to marketing intelligence.
• Secure regular follow-up with key stake holders and colleagues to ensure we are on track to reach targets.
