• Assisting with proposals and presentations to potential clients ​

What you'll be doing as the Waste Depot Manager;



You will be required to manage all aspects of the Commercial Collections Business Unit to ensure the effective and safe organisation of work processes whilst delivering services to maximum operational efficiency. This must be within budget to specified standards, compliant with legal, regulatory and company quality, and health & safety obligations.

• Responsible for the depot's P&L, operating within budgeted guidelines to ensure the depot operates efficiently and effectively to produce maximum Net Revenue returns, and maximum profit, revenue responsibility of £7 million.
  
• Ensure Health & Safety remains at the forefront within the depot, to enable the group H&S Key Performance Indicators to be met, and also provide a safer workplace for the employees.
  
• Ensure all aspects of fleet compliance policies, golden rules, KPIs along with all regulatory obligations are adhered to within the depot.
  
• Ensure all customer risk assessments are carried out to ensure both the workforce and customer employees are protected, and all legal requirements regarding waste collections are adhered to.
  
• Provide clear, transparent and accurate reporting of operational business performance.
  
• Responsible for the depot in all operational aspects from day to day operation to budgets and finance.
  
• Leading, managing and developing all direct reports.

Provide leadership, line management, direction and support to the school support staff.
Ensure the school reception is operated in a professional manner providing an effective and efficient reception service to all customers (internal and external) of the school.
Ensure school support staff operate school safeguarding procedures effectively to verify the identity of visitors to the school and the electronic entry system.
Ensure effective administration procedures are in place for the effective operation of the school.
Responsible for the recruitment, induction, and training of school support staff within line management.
Manage the performance and conduct of reception/ admin staff.
Essential:

Relevant experience within an administration role
Relevant experience in a management/financial role
Experience of working with young people/young adults with
autistic spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviour
Experience of working within an education/residential setting
Willingness to work towards other relevant qualifications as required
Undertake relevant group induction training on commencement
Commitment to the values of the organisation
Driving licence

Our New Options School - Papworth Hall is in the picturesque village in Cambridgeshire. It is within proximity to Huntingdon and Cambridge. Our new specialist school will cater for young people with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs and has the capacity for circa 30 students.
