About the Role Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Reading and Havant
Salary: £63,000 - £94,400 + car allowance + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Group Technology Services has a need for a Business Partner and Engagement Role to sit within the IT Platform Change and Transformation team to undertake the following:
- Proactively work with Business Relationship Manager within the GTS Service team to ensure clear and concise messages are delivered to the Business in respect of GTS priorities and any changes that are planned.
- Be accountable for the management of the GTS Front Door and Integrated Planning Process.
- Own and manage the GTS Portfolio Prioritisation Board to ensure correct prioritisation and phasing of work in line with SSE and Group IT Strategic priorities. This requires management of senior stakeholders that support the governance board.
- Formalise and manage all dependencies across the GTS Portfolio, specifically ensuring the management and progress of Business Unit dependencies.
- Lead a Business change and engagement Scrum of Scrums to derive and proactively manage a forward schedule of delivery in conjunction with the Portfolio and Change Delivery managers.
What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Sound understanding of IT Project development process and able to facilitate and gain agreement to improvements where required.
- Able to visualise and articulate proposed solutions to business problems provided by design team to business areas.
- Have experience of successfully leading IT portfolios in a large organisation.
- Experience of all stages of the IT development lifecycle.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive breadth and depth of knowledge and experience of working in a complex project environment.
