Triage and Research Officer

Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Triage and Research Officer in Havering.

The Triage and Research Officer is responsible for improving our customer's complaints and/or Data and Information request journey by ensuring that each enquiry is reviewed and allocated to the correct pathway for processing.

Pay rate - £14.26 per hour / £17.54 ltd (umbrella)

Main Responsibilities

As a Triage and Research Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Receive and triage written and verbal service complaints, notifications and enquiries whilst conducting thorough and timely comprehensive reviews of incoming material.
• As the above for Information Access, Subject Access and EIRs.
• Risk assess complaints and requests for information to support informed decision making; ensuring those identified as high risk and/or high complexity are prioritised as most urgent.
• Utilise statutory provisions to request relevant information necessary to process complaints and prepare complaints documentation to enable the decision maker to make robust decisions within legislated time limits.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS
• Appropriate Customer Services qualification or relevant experience.

• In-depth experience of managing and delivering multiple research projects within a commercial setting
• In-depth experience of a variety of research methodologies and the ability to accurately analyse and interpret research findings, and apply them to a business setting
• Experience managing a portfolio of internal customers
• Experience working with, and managing relationships with research agencies
• Substantial experience of presenting to senior audiences

The Dana Research Centre and Library at the Science Museum, provides open access to around 7,000 books and periodicals covering the history and biography of science, technology, and medicine, as well as providing access to the Science Museum's rich collections of archives and rare books.

To support the library, we are now seeking a Senior Archive and Library Assistant to be based at the Science Museum in London, on a full time permanent basis.

About the role

This new role will work closely with the Science Museum Librarian, Systems and E-resources Librarian, Collections and Research and Public History teams to support the Science Museum's priorities, and the development and intellectual care of the collection. You will play a key role in providing access to Dana Research Centre and Library. You will be responsible for ordering and cataloguing library material, including for other sites, maintaining the public library space, and supporting access to archives and rare books.
