Our mining information underpins everything the Authority does. As a result you will be working across the Authority managing multi-talented teams and helping others understand the mining legacy, manage public safety, manage the mining data and provide advice on mining and mineral matters.

About The Role
You will be an accessible and effective leader who will also undertake the work asked of their teams. You will be a person others turn to for advice and mentoring so it key that you have a good knowledge and understanding of the mining legacy in Great Britain and the work of the Mining Information Department as well the statutory responsibilities of the Authority now and its ambitions going into the future.
