Digital Marketing & Communications Officer
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Real Life Options is a registered charity dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities across the UK.
To meet our Charity’s needs, our Marketing Team is getting bigger. Alongside some interesting projects, your day-to-day workload will include communications content planning and writing, and coordination of marketing activities, events and campaigns. You’ll get to work with a great team who put people first and who care about making a real difference every day.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Digital Marketing & Communications Officer you will be responsible for creating visually appealing content. You will manage social media channels as well as the website and support in elevating the organisation’s brand through a combination of digital marketing, design, and multimedia production. You will work closely with members of the Marketing & Communications team as well as other key stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of elevating the organisation’s brand and support with the execution of the Digital Marketing plan.
Website Management:
Update and maintain the company website, ensuring content is current and relevant.
Optimise website performance, SEO, and user experience.
Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging and informative web content.
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute social media strategies across our platforms
Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and campaigns to increase audience engagement.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
Photography and Videography:
Take high-quality photos and videos to showcase [company events, services, etc.].
Edit and produce visual content for use across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Assist in creating promotional videos, tutorials, and other multimedia content.
General Digital Marketing Support:
Collaborate on email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and digital advertising.
Assist in tracking and analysing digital marketing performance metrics, providing insights for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging digital marketing tools and techniques.
Design & Creative Development:
Use Adobe Illustrator and other design tools to create visually appealing graphics for social media, email, and web content.
Develop digital promotional materials, infographics, and other branded assets that align with the organisation’s tone of voice and visual identity.
Email Marketing:
Design and distribute email marketing campaigns, ensuring they are well-targeted and align with the organisation’s messaging and objectives.
Collaboration with Internal Communications
Collaborate with the Internal Marketing & Communications Executive to align internal messaging with external campaigns, particularly when showcasing internal achievements to external audiences.
Brand Management:
Ensure consistency in brand visuals and messaging across all digital platforms.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Measure the success of digital marketing campaigns through metrics and analytics.
