We have an excellent opportunity in our Kent and Medway NHS Talking Therapies service for a Senior Employment Advisor.

This is a key role in the service and combines a caseload with the management, motivation and development of a team of Employment Advisors focused on providing support and advice to our service users to help them gain, return to or retain employment. You will work closely with mental health clinicians and develop good working partnerships with a variety of stakeholders including employers, job centres, trade unions and employment agencies.

This is a great chance to use your relationship building and account management skills to gain in-depth knowledge of the local employment market and liaise with a range of schemes and initiatives to assist users with their employment situation.

It would suit someone with existing team leadership or supervisory experience and is an excellent opportunity to build on this and develop your career in a fast-growing company.

About the roleReporting to the Vice Principal: Finance and Professional Services, you will lead our small Health, Safety and Advisory Team to deliver a high quality Health and Safety Advisory Service in the College. About the unit

With 2 floors and 164 beds we are able to provide care for long term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a long term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Offers integrated services with a common mission: to provide goal orientated, compassionate care while living a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible.

About Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge 

We are located on a 10-acre campus. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide opportunities for improving independence, strength, and confidence. Two main floor courtyards provide outdoor space for rest and renewal. Most patient rooms are private, and have an attached bathroom and shower, television with cable, phone, and a large window. Each unit has a large and accessible living and dining space, and a menu-based meal service is provided. 

Scope of work 

Assumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service. Some service lines may require the ability to be available for on-call to better support the nursing services. Assists with development of policies, procedures and processes in coordination with unit leaders to ensure the highest quality services are provided at all times to all customers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: department based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement and maintenance of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships. As a Multi Modality Technologist for Dexa and Mammo within Banners outpatient imaging facility you will perform Dexa scans and Mammography studies such as Screening and Diagnostic Studies. Work closely with the radiologist to achieve thorough and quality done density and mammogram studies, following set imaging protocols. You will work closely with patients to ensure their needs are met during Dexa screening, diagnostic mammograms and also stereotactic procedures

We are a small outpatient imaging facility separate from the hospital.  We are mostly breast imaging at this site but also have MRI on site.  We work closely with our breast scheduling team.  We have two Hologic Horizon - a Dexa Machine, 2 Hologic Mammo machines, a Brevera Stereotactic Biopsy machine, and 2 ultrasound machines.  We are located centrally in Tucson, conveniently located next to Trader Joes easy access to Rillito River Walking Path.   We work very closely with the AZ Cancer Center and Surgeons to get the best breast care for our patients. We are a BICOE (Breast Imaging Center of Excellence) through the ACR.  We are accredited in mammo, Stereo Biopsy, US and US Biopsy, and Breast MRI.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology programs. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) based on modalities in which they will be conducting work and licensure by the state regulatory agency as applicable. As of August 1, 2019, all Multi-Modality Technologist's hired on or after August 1,2019 will be required to have an advance certification by an accrediting body in a specialty if applicable. BLS certification required.

This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. Must be actively working in each certified modality, in accordance with the needs of the facility. The Multi-Modality Technologist I will be required to rotate and cover department scheduling as needed and required in areas where obtained certifications apply. • To oversee the successful operational management of the NHS Talking Therapies Kent and Medway Duty team.

• Développer des méthodes quantitatives et qualitatives de haute qualité et des méthodologies participatives pour contrôler la qualité du programme en termes de performance et de résultats; concevoir des mécanismes de retour d'information appropriés pour évaluer l'efficacité des approches mises en œuvre dans le cadre du projet.

• Aider les équipes techniques et les homologues à utiliser les données et les connaissances pour la gestion adaptative du projet. 

• Former le personnel, les principales parties prenantes et les sous-partenaires aux composantes du MERL dans la conception des projets, telles que le plan de suivi, les évaluations, les examens, les enquêtes et les évaluations. 

• Fournir une supervision et une assistance technique permanentes aux partenaires du consortium qui mettent en œuvre le système de suivi et d'évaluation, en veillant à ce que les données et les analyses soient de grande qualité.

• Entreprendre des examens périodiques des systèmes MERL des projets; fournir des conseils pour l'assurance qualité, ainsi que pour la documentation et les rapports sur les meilleures pratiques.

• Superviser la publication et la diffusion d'informations sur les approches réussies et prometteuses, les enseignements tirés et les autres résultats du programme auprès des partenaires du programme, des donateurs, des homologues gouvernementaux et d'autres parties prenantes clés.

• Assurer la qualité et la présentation dans les délais de tous les rapports de projet requis, y compris la documentation sur les réussites, l'analyse des données pour le calcul des indicateurs, la synthèse des résultats qualitatifs, etc.

• Diriger la conception d'activités visant à aider le ministère de la santé à renforcer le système national d'information sanitaire en termes de qualité, d'analyse, d'établissement de rapports et d'utilisation.

• Diriger les activités techniques, opérationnelles et tactiques du projet liées au renforcement du système de données.

• Veiller à ce que des produits techniques de haute qualité - notamment des plans de travail et des rapports annuels - soient élaborés, soumis et approuvés dans les délais impartis et dans le respect des paramètres budgétaires.

• Veiller à ce que les activités techniques soient conformes aux accords conclus avec les clients, aux réglementations gouvernementales et aux politiques et procédures de l'organisation.

FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Monitoring, Evaluating, Adapting, and Learning and Data System Strengthening Advisor for an anticipated USAID-funded Health Systems Strengthening Activity in Burkina Faso. The activity aims to support the Transitional Government of Burkina Faso to strategically and comprehensively respond to the key challenges facing the country’s health sector. The Activity will have a strong emphasis on Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) to generate and share knowledge and support adaptive management. The Activity will also strengthen national data systems for improved data quality, analysis, reporting, and use.

Job Summary:

The Technical Advisor will:

• Work with the project team, government counterparts, and other local stakeholders to build and execute a CLA approach for the project, to ensure maximum impact.

• Oversee all aspects of monitoring, evaluation, research and learning of the project, in support of the CLA approach.

• Oversee activities to strengthen national data systems and build stakeholder capacity to analyze and use data to inform decision making at all levels.

The Technical Advisor will provide technical leadership on MERL, CLA, and data strengthening activities.

They will, under the guidance of the Chief of Party and FHI 360 leadership, establish and continually refine technical frameworks, approaches, tools, and activities for that project. They will identify specialized partnership needs, engage qualified partners to ensure technical performance, and oversee their performance. They will support the capacity development of local partners as appropriate. They will monitor all technical aspects of a project from initiation through delivery. They will ensure completion of project technical deliverables are on schedule and within budget constraints. They will manage technical advisors and other staff, and mentor and develop them to ensure technical objectives are met. They will contribute project experience and learning to national and global thought leadership initiatives.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the MERL/CLA plan for the Activity, in line with the overall Results Framework, including indicator selection and definition, target setting for all indicators, planning of all necessary data collection and analysis.  

• Oversee and directly contribute to the development and implementation of M&E tools and systems to collect, interpret, and aggregate data that track tangible, measurable progress toward project results and data that meet donor reporting requirements. 

• Develop and support the design and implementation of project evaluations, surveys, and other components of the program MERL system.  

• Develop high quality quantitative and qualitative methods and participatory methodologies to monitor program quality for performance and results; design appropriate feedback mechanisms to assess whether approaches implemented by the project are effective.

• Support technical teams and counterparts to use data and insights for adaptive management of the project.

• Provide training to staff, primary stakeholders, and sub-partners on MERL components in project design; such as monitoring plan, assessments, reviews, surveys and evaluations.  

• Provide ongoing oversight and technical assistance to consortium partners implementing monitoring and evaluation system, ensuring data and analysis are of high quality.

• Undertake periodic reviews of project MERL systems; provide guidance for quality assurance, as well as best practices documentation and reporting. 

• Oversee the publication and dissemination of information on successful and promising approaches, lessons learned and other program results to program partners, donors, government counterparts, and other key stakeholders. 

• Provide high quality and timely submission of all required project reports, including documentation of success stories, analysis of data for indicator calculation, summary of qualitative findings, etc. 

• Lead the design of activities to support the Ministry of Health to strengthen the National Health Information System in terms of quality, analysis, reporting, and use.

• Lead the technical operational and tactical activities for the project related to data system strengthening.

• Ensure high quality technical deliverables—including workplans and annual reports—are developed, submitted, and approved on schedule and within budget parameters.

• Provide direction to ensure technical activities are compliant with client agreements, government regulations and the organization’s policies and procedures.

• Respond to client requests and questions on technical matters and ensures timely drafts and submissions of consents, approvals and/or waivers.

• Manages the relationship with subcontracted organizations on a project on technical matters.

• Supports performance management and professional development of direct reports, including ongoing feedback, coaching and career support.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Applied Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Burkina Faso health system and its data sources and systems.

• Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and policies in MERL, CLA, and data system strengthening, particularly as they relate to USAID processes.

• Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience leading MERL, CLA, and data system strengthening activities.

• Experience coordinating with governments, ministries and/or local NGOs in the design and implementation of data collection activities and data utilization approaches.

• Experience with District Health Information System 2 (DHIS2); experience with other systems (e.g., LMIS, IHRIS) preferred.

• Experience in managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple partner institutions strongly preferred.

• Experience with donor funded health system reform projects; USAID experience preferred.

• Demonstrated experience with implementing health systems strengthening (HSS) programs and/or health service delivery strengthening projects in Burkina Faso.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and foster relationships with local government counterparts, local organizations, and donors. Experience at the sub-national level preferred.
