The role involves providing remote ASC assessments as part of a team of two clinicians. One practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R. Ability to undertake both ADOS and ADI-R is desired. MDTs are held when required with Team Leads and, where warranted, with input from our psychiatry colleagues. Use clinical judgement and experience to make treatment decisions using highly developed skills and knowledge regarding management of adults and young people with Autism. Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for diagnostic decision making within competence, with supervision from Team Leads.Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care. Ensure accurate and timely client records are kept on the clinical platform. Reports should be written professionally and completed within expected timeframes. Make recommendations on any additional assessments or interventions required (as appropriate) to the client within the report. Work closely with senior leadership team on the further development of the Autism pathways. Provide consultation and training to other members of staff to develop skills in this area of expertise. Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC,Social Work England). You will report to, and work very closely with, the ADHD Prescribing Lead, and will have as direct reports a group of ADHD prescribers. As Team Lead, you will be central to ensuring your team are motivated and that they deliver high-quality, efficient care and treatment that Is person-centred and gold-standard. The right candidate will have extensive clinical experience prescribing ADHD medications and experience of leadership. You will have experience of prescribing for adults. You will be flexible and proactive. Whilst a team player with excellent communication skills, you will also need to be assertive. You will be inspiring and organised, and will view the role not as a job, but rather as a vocation. You must hold an Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300).

To explain the ProblemShared assessment process and respond to any questions clients may have. To ensure you employ a consistent approach to triage and complete relevant documentation in a thorough and consistent manner.
