Functional objectives:
Create dynamic and engaging marketing activities and collateral that ultimately contributes to the profitable sales growth of all Products and Solutions into the strategic target markets applying proactive, up-to-date marketing plan and marketing performance benchmarking.
Enhance brand performance & awareness in new/existing market/audience. Design/boost customer experience & journey.
Responsibilities:
The role involves creating marketing campaigns and collaborating with various teams, including local product and application marketing, and sales. Key responsibilities include:
Marketing Campaigns:
- Develop campaigns for new and existing products using techniques like email marketing, copywriting, video content, trade press, print, landing pages, AdWords, SEO, and social media.
- Use a data-driven approach to measure Marketing Return on Investment (MROI).
- Maintain and coordinate the campaign calendar, integrate new techniques, and ensure coordination between online and printed activities.
Planning and Execution of Local Events:
- Identify, book, and manage exhibitions and events.
- Manage the local exhibition and event budget.
- Organize exhibition requirements in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Produce post-event reports to measure MROI and assess lead progress.
Social Media and Website Activity:
- Develop the local website and actively update content.
- Identify lead-generating opportunities from website information.
- Manage and evaluate social media activities for performance improvement and lead generation.
- Implement effective social media advertising campaigns.
Trade Press and Printed Advertising:
- Coordinate press releases and technical articles for trade publications.
- Regionalize press releases with assistance from sales/product teams.
- Write press copy for product releases, industry trends, and topics.
- Create advert copy for print and digital formats.
Lead Capture, Data Analytics, Competitor Analysis, and Administration:
- Ensure proper capture and update of lead data using relevant systems and CRM.
- Monitor sales lead progress through the CRM and report back on progress.
- Regularly report on marketing activities progress and results to demonstrate MROI.
- Identify competitor presence and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with local laws for marketing activities.
The role also involves promoting eBusiness opportunities and digital sales tools internally and externally, along with any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a marketing or communications or relevant PR role, preferably gained in a technical/manufacturing, B2B, MNC environment
- Degree-level qualified in marketing, communications, PR or related subject, and/or relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Previous experience of digital marketing tools is preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical or electronic connectors/applications would be an advantage
