POSITION SUMMARY
- Support the Head of Business Operations and Business Operations Team. Manage communications, planning and execution of daily operations, lead and monitor deliverables and direct special projects.
- Support, coordinate, and optimize Oncology Research Unit (ORU) leadership team and (ORU LT) meetings.
- Organize create and issue departmental communications and annual training events.
- You will be responsible for supporting Department Operating Plan requirements; supporting Opex management in partnership with Finance, ensuring headcount and associated travel and training budgets are effectively forecast and then actively managed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements business processes within ORU in support of functional excellence, innovation and quality, identifying areas for efficiency across groups, the enterprise, and integration.
- Supports a breadth of operational and communications initiatives/activities, and is accountable for a wide variety of deliverables and special project implementation.
- In collaboration with the Head of Business Operations, drafts and edits presentations for internal and external audiences, partners with Communications to support planning and management of communications needs, supports financial planning, and drives day-to-day operations and logistics for key interactions, meetings, and events with other groups in Pfizer Oncology PRD, and company-wide.
- Works proactively with ORU colleagues to ensure robust connectivity, planning and partnerships.
- Support for ORU training/compliance curriculum, SOPs, education and development of line processes, etc.
- Supports the planning of town halls and preparation of associated materials and presentations.
- Supports Opex budget management with Head of Business Operations, Leadership Team, and Finance.
- Establishes and maintain Teams site structure and SharePoint for department.
- Supports integration coordination for the department.
- Participates in ad hoc workstreams and special projects as needed.
- Partners with across Pfizer Oncology to identify best practices.
- Manages guidance on communications plan for key milestones, routinely updating distribution lists.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
- Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech organization is beneficial, but not required.
- Ability to manage and triage a high volume of work, working alongside senior leaders in a large organization.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure as well as anticipate and manage unforeseen situations.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $69,700.00 to $116,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
