South & Western General Agency seeks an Entry Level Inside Sales Specialist in Addison, TX. 

Candidates will be engaged in 24-month training and development program that will prepare the participant to become a superior insurance professional.  The focus of the training program will be to increase new submissions, quotes, binders and premium over the phone.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct 50 of outbound calls a day to appointed retail agents to drive new opportunities in, convert leads into submissions and turn quotes into bind orders.

• Make outbound phone calls on all quotes to cross sell products, communicate coverages and selling points to assist converting quotes into binders.

• Act as a liaison between markets and customers to negotiate favorable insurance quotes quickly and efficiently, and cross-sell additional coverages.

• Weekly reporting of sales calls and results is expected.

• Educate customers on quoting platforms and services.

• Contribute to other outbound marketing efforts including social media, webinars and email blasts.

o   Produce more effective email blast campaigns with the best, most relevant content to the right customer audience.  Responsible for monthly email blasts

o   Contribute ideas for weekly social media posts.

o   Conduct a monthly webinar.

o   Help coordinate customer events and contests as appropriate.

• Drive daily submissions goals and relay information to marketing team to maximize opportunities.

• Respond to customer emails and phone calls in compliance within service standards.

• Review web and phone quoting activity to spot trends positive and negative and address trends with customers and team.

• Establish an active relationship with Regional Sales Manager and regularly discuss strategy and tactics including training, sales issues and follow up.

• Pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in the training and development plan. This will require self-study.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• College degree OR equivalent business experience

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Motivated, results-driven sales personality

• Open to coaching and continuous improvement

• P&C license or commitment to obtain P&C license within 60 days

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a business, sales or financial related discipline

• Bilingual

Brown & Brown is seeking a Sales Producer for its Commercial Lines team in Greenville, South Carolina!

Responsible for all aspects of selling and servicing a commercial account.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Generation of revenue through new business, renewals, and rounding out of accounts

• Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, sending letters and making personal visits.

• Maintain sufficient inventory of upcoming potential accounts

• Accurately complete submissions, applications, proposals, and binder

• Complete Insurance Coverage Review with client accurately and timely

• Review expiration lists 120 days out

• Servicing current book of business and working with Account Manager

• Maintain and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum education H.S. Diploma
• Proficient with MS Office Suite

• Exceptional telephone demeanor

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

• 1 – 3 years experience in a similar position

• P&C License

• This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.  Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.

The Sales Development Representative will generate new business and increase revenue opportunities by focusing on developing and executing initiatives through inbound and outbound efforts across the Employee Benefits and/ or Property & Casualty divisions. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Identify, design, and implement new business sales strategies and initiatives, encompassing new products and services, identification and selection of target markets, and tailored/unique coverages. 

• Partner with Producers to assist with inbound & outbound prospecting activity in Employee Benefits / Property & Casualty Insurance market. 

• Utilize Agency technology to assist in the ongoing research/solicitation of advance software products to generate new opportunities. 

• Attend carrier and industry meeting and seminars to foster relationships and remain knowledgeable of industry standards.

• Keep up to date and accurate prospect information in the Agency CRM.

• Train and counsel teammates; customize development plans and performance reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all commercial line’s insurance coverage

• 2+ years’ experience in sales, telemarketing, sales, or consulting

• Able to obtain appropriate Kentucky Insurance license within 90 of start date

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Conducts and analyzes market research to evaluate market competitiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must have at least one year of insurance experience.

• Must have a Property Casualty License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective and efficient use of computers and related equipment.

• College Degree (preferred, but not required)
