SSEN Distribution has an exciting new role which has arisen due to growth within the business.
The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the project Change Control activities across the Large Capital Delivery (LCD) Portfolio, advocate for the Change Control process and maintain a single view of all Change across schedule, cost and risk along the project delivery lifecycle. This includes integrating into broader governance forums as part of the Asset Lifecycle Process.
As a member of the Project Services team, the job holder shares collective responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the performance of SSEN's Distribution business through the effective management of all Change across LCD.
The successful applicant will be experienced with project Change governance. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Implement and manage Change Control governance.
- Assure and validate Change requests.
- Co-ordinate and chair the Change Assurance Panel.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to advocate for compliance with governance processes.
- Maintain accurate Change Control register.
What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Demonstrable experience with project Change Control, with the ability to support and advise on the application of effective project Change.
- An understanding of large capital project governance with good working knowledge of project control processes.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at varying management levels.
- Looks for and encourages better, faster, more efficient ways of doing things, striving to achieve the best possible outcome in all situations.
- Strong team player, able to work across disciplines and with colleagues ensuring collective accountability and individual responsibility for task ownership is clear and objectives are delivered.
