Overview:
As a Quality Control Assistant, you will support the implementation and compliance of ISO standards within the company. Your responsibilities include assisting in maintaining documentation, supporting internal audits, and helping with quality checks to ensure compliance with established standards. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform goods receiving in the central kitchen and report any non-conformities
• Ensure various departments in central kitchen adhere to ISO22000 food safety management system, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standard operating procedures at all times
• Perform quality checks in production lines and ensure accuracy of Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Programmes (OPRP) records
• Prepare and send daily quality control reports to the management
• Assist to prepare training content and conduct in-house staff training covering personal hygiene, food safety guidelines and workplace safety
• Perform in-house swab tests on equipment and personal hygiene, equipment validation and verification and oversee all pest control maintenance
• Assist with routine and ad-hoc ISO internal and external audits, halal audits and regulatory agencies audits
Minimum qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, Quality Assurance or related field
• Have basic knowledge in FSMS, HACCP, QMS and Halal Certification
