As the Performance and Compliance Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering our Environmental Services sector towards its strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Managing Director for Environmental Services, this position offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our services and make a significant impact on our success.

Your Role and Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development of sector strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives and operational excellence.
- Growth and Financials: driving financial performance across the sector, ensuring the achievement of revenue and risk management whilst also working with colleagues in our Growth function to successfully prosecute bids, winning new business and retaining existing contracts.
- Operational Excellence: Lead the transformation activities to standardize processes, improve data use, and ensure commercial and operational compliance across the sector.
- People and Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, safety, and inclusivity, developing a team of leaders and professionals who are engaged and motivated to excel.
What We're Looking For

- Demonstrable leadership experience in complex outsourcing or operational environments, with a track record of driving change, developing organisational culture and delivering results.
- Highly numerate with strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience in managing commercial performance, with a focus on growth and operational excellence.
- A commitment to our values, with the capability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Level 5 Management qualification, and Yellow/Green Belt or PMO Qualification preferred.

Job title: DV Cleared Information Assurance and Cyber Risk
Location: Farnborough
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Up to £850 per day

My client is looking for a DV Cleared Information Assurance and Cyber Risk consultant to join their team.
Responsibilities:

• Provide security subject matter expertise to the TSM Programme Manager, technical security advice to the TSM Programme and provide support to the clients Security Assurance Co-ordinator.
• Provide security subject matter expertise on the security implications of System Change Requests (SCRs).
• Maintain knowledge of current client security requirements and provide advice to the TSM Security Manager (SyM) on security requirements.
• Identify and assess the potential impact of amendments to the clients policy on the Programme.
• Maintain accreditation or Secure by Design (SbD) of TSM systems in accordance with the security requirements in contract with the client, including liaison as tasked by the TSM SyM with the client (e.g. CyDR) and other (e.g. NCSC) security stakeholders.
• Maintain RMADS (or similar SbD artefacts) and security risk assessments for TSM systems to support accreditation.
• Maintain formal certification of the TSMF facility in support of the accreditation / SbD of TSM systems.
• Maintain relevant Codes of Connection (CoCo) and ensure continued approval for such connections.
• Review and update security operating procedures, as tasked by the TSM SyM.
• Report on security for agreed meetings, for example regular Team Leaders' meetings or Monthly or Quarterly Progress Meetings as tasked by the TSM Programme Manager.
• On behalf of the TSM SyM manage the quarterly Security Working Groups (SWG) ensuring that calling notices, agendas, minutes etc. are produced and distributed within agreed timescales.
• Produce a draft Security Report prior to the Quarterly SWGs and presenting this report at the SWG; updating and issuing this report after the SWG.
• Manage assurance activities to be completed by the TSM Security Team.
• Support compliance checking activities to be completed by the TSM Security Team.
• Provide advice on the patching of TSM systems including monitoring MODCERTS and other sources of patching and vulnerability information.
• Develop and deliver security training to the TSM Programme.

Required Skills:

• Experience in offering advice on Security requirements.
• 5-10 years Cyber Risk experience.
• Understanding codes of Connection.
• Understanding of Secure by Design and how this is replacing formal accreditation of client systems.
• Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team, and able to work with others.
• Able to manage own tasks and time liaising with the TSM System Security Officer to agree tasks to be delivered and time to be worked on programme.
• Good communication skills.

Job Description

  

Using established processes, collects and process Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), validates information is presented correctly and processes requests using Teledyne document control tools. Utilizing effective communications, excellent organizational skills and teamwork, processes all company Engineering and Manufacturing documentation. Creates new structures, gathers required information, such as Bills of Materials (BOM’s), drawings, procedures and releases new part numbers. Along with other members of the team, maintains configuration management, revision control and document archives.

Maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center. Administers the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Tasks and assignments tend to be general but may involve complex and/or non-routine assignments. Duties are performed under limited supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Examines documents, such as blueprints, drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data

· Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents

· Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments

· Maintains a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents

· Performs clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary

· Prepares requests for reproduction of documents

· Operates reproduction equipment

· Prepares reports and memorandums

· Tracks drawing reviews and hosts Engineering Change Board meetings

· Maintains Engineering Change Order Log

· Creates Engineering Part Numbers and drawing titles

· Creates Engineering Part Descriptions

· Scans, records and files paper documents into electronic records

· Strictly adheres to corporate standards for information dissemination and security

· Tracks drawing reviews and approvals to ensure they are processed in a timely manner

· Tracks ECO metrics and generate status reports for engineering department KPIs

· Maintains engineering policies and procedures manual

· Creates standard documentation release packages

· Provides training and guidance on document control procedures to other company personnel

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred

· Prior document control experience in technology/engineering/manufacturing environments is required

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented and proactive in management of projects and tasks

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software

· ISO 9000 experience is a plus

· ERP experience is highly preferred, IFS a plus
