As our Transport Compliance Manager, you will follow all vehicle maintenance requirements ensuring all vehicles and plant are serviced and maintained to the specification outlined under the manufactured guidelines and the Operator licence conditions. You will liaise with all third-party service providers to ensure all daily defects, breakdowns and punctures on our vehicles and plant are registered and dealt with within the relevant timeframe.

Main responsibilities of the role include:


- Proactively manage the yearly maintenance planner to ensure the vehicle fleet is maintained, services, and managed in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Daily management of the vehicle requirements for all relevant departments across the contract(s).

Quality Governance Facilitator (Full Time 37.5hrs) Quality and Safety Department An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Quality Governance Facilitator. As the Quality Governance Facilitator, you will lead and coordinate Patient Safety Incident Investigations and support the Trust to learn from patient safety events. You will have experience working in patient safety or quality governance and have an understanding of governance techniques, including incident reporting and risk management. Ideally, you will have a clinical background; in this role, you will be working with clinical teams and senior leaders to analyse current practice and identify areas for improvement. This will include analysing data and identifying themes and trends. You will work closely with the clinical teams to produce reports and present information to senior team leaders. You will engage closely with patients, their families and staff with the aim of understanding their experiences and obtaining areas for improvement. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and flexibly as a part of a team. What You Will Do
Reporting into the Associate Director QA –GMP Operations, you will participate in the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH).
Ensure that all QA processes and procedures are documented, followed, and continuously improved.
Conduct internal / external audits and participate to regulatory inspections .
Ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation of new regulations.
Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and audits, including visiting CMO partners.
Manage risk, documentation and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, MSAT, R&D, and regulatory affairs, to ensure product quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement, train and embed best practice within quality across the company.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Biologics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in manufacturing operations of medicines is essential, biological products is a plus.
Deep knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.

About the Role: Quality Assurance Business Partner
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Quality Assurance Business Partner to become a part of our high performing Quality & Consistency team. This is a unique opportunity to coordinate, support, and review the implementation of standard QA processes across our faculties.
As a pivotal point of contact for curriculum staff on quality-related matters, you will also undertake the role of Quality Nominee whilst liaising with our partner Awarding Organisations.
You will be instrumental in supporting faculties to uphold best practice in assessment and to assist them in preparing for any external sampling processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal reviews and sampling to identify and propose improvement actions.
Your role will also involve developing and implementing robust quality systems to monitor and safeguard our certification, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained.
You will co-deliver courses to train new assessors and IQAs, and coach them to achieve relevant accreditation.
This is a permanent, 0.8 role based across our Surrey colleges at Guildford, Merrist Wood, and Farnham.
What do you need to be successful as a Quality Assurance Business Partner at Activate Learning?
The successful candidate must be a qualified IQA and assessor with significant experience as a Lead/Internal Verifier, and a deep understanding of IV/EV systems and processes.
