About the Role: Quality Assurance Business Partner
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Quality Assurance Business Partner to become a part of our high performing Quality & Consistency team. This is a unique opportunity to coordinate, support, and review the implementation of standard QA processes across our faculties.
As a pivotal point of contact for curriculum staff on quality-related matters, you will also undertake the role of Quality Nominee whilst liaising with our partner Awarding Organisations.
You will be instrumental in supporting faculties to uphold best practice in assessment and to assist them in preparing for any external sampling processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal reviews and sampling to identify and propose improvement actions.
Your role will also involve developing and implementing robust quality systems to monitor and safeguard our certification, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained.
You will co-deliver courses to train new assessors and IQAs, and coach them to achieve relevant accreditation.
This is a permanent, 0.8 role based across our Surrey colleges at Guildford, Merrist Wood, and Farnham.
What do you need to be successful as a Quality Assurance Business Partner at Activate Learning?
The successful candidate must be a qualified IQA and assessor with significant experience as a Lead/Internal Verifier, and a deep understanding of IV/EV systems and processes. Experience in an educational environment is essential, ideally in Further Education specifically, or those who have worked within an awarding organisation.
We are seeking an outgoing individual who can build quickly strong and effective relationships. Your interpersonal skills will be key in this role, as fostering a positive environment and maintaining open lines of communication with teams across Activate Learning and with partners will be integral to our success.
