What you will do

Under general direction, responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of complete building control systems including fire, security, and other low voltage control sub-systems (i.e., lighting, nurse call, data networks, etc.) to meet the intent of the project requirements.  Accountable to field teams for quality, timeliness and efficiency of designs.  Develops complex software programs, commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure proper operations of the building control system. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors

Job Description:
Focuses on the creation, maintenance and execution of test scripts and other specialty testing activities in the areas of automation testing, performance testing, test environments or application specialties. Is considered a subject matter expert in one or more of these areas. Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process. The primary focus of the Enterprise Credit (EC) Commercial Quality Review (QR) team is to design and execute quality review activities on processes and data elements across the EC commercial lines of business.  QR results aid the EC line of business by ensuring process and controls are functioning properly and that data elements are flowing completely and accurately from input through to regulatory and management reporting.

We are currently seeking a Quality Review Specialist to join our team.  In this role, the QR Specialist focuses on the execution of a portfolio of quality review test scripts.  The specialist will review credit actions and credit data elements for accuracy and adherence to policy/procedure. The QR Specialist interacts and partners with associates in the business to educate, remediate findings, and improve the quality of credit submissions.  The QR Specialist will also identifiy and recommend ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process. This may include identifying gaps in the underlying credit process and/or controls.     

The QR Specialist may also participate in various project work supporting continued improvement of the QR processes.  This work may include identifying areas that require new quality review testing, determining the appropriate function to own the testing, designing tests, and thinking creatively to identify solutions that consolidate and create efficiency in processes. The role requires collaboration with other EC team members to drive technology and process changes through identification of business requirements.

What Inventory Control Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Responsibilities: 

• Directs and manages a team of inventory control warehouse associates to account for timely distribution and receipt of products and motivate employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved. 

• Oversees all inventory control operations which includes; managing the flow of goods, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient and accurate warehouse operations.

• Oversees the completion of SOX Reporting requirements, participates in QA events, reporting and resolution of Inbound and Outbound discrepancy, processing of customer returns, error resolution, cycle count compliance, profiling assistance and service issues.

• Implements best practices and maintains accurate inventory records.

• Adheres to budgetary guidelines and works to meet Distribution Center objectives and operational goals while maintaining standards pertaining to quality and inventory. 

• Drives and participates in continuous improvement projects and initiatives. 

• Performs daily scheduling of the work force to ensure proper staffing to select, replenish, restock, locate, and ship merchandise in a productive and cost-efficient manner.

• Develops and maintains an inventory tracking system.

• Evaluates inventory levels, reorder points, and stock availability regularly.

• Monitors and reports inventory accuracy and shrinkage.

• Designs and implements inventory control procedures.

• Examines raw material levels and identify shortages.

• Documents daily shipments and deliveries for replenishment

• Avoids excessive surplus or inefficiencies by properly ordering new supplies.

• Actively engages in employee development, which includes training, coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals. 

• Collaborates with cross functional teams at all levels within the organization, specifically within HR groups on a daily basis. 

• Interviews and makes hiring decisions for lead and associate level roles.   

• Maintains general responsibility for disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; ensure a productive work climate in the warehouse operation. 

• Prepares ad hoc reports, as necessary using Excel (or any other necessary programs) 

• Reviews attendance/PTO records and ensures scheduling is maintained.  

• Holds staff accountable for conducting work in a safe manner while enforcing Cardinal Health compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, State and local authorities.

• Majority of workday is spent on the floor while balancing administrative duties. 

• Manages Deselect report daily to clear all inventory issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus 

• 2-3 years related experience preferred. 

• Strong organizational skills are desired for success in this role

• Prior experience with inventory control, continuous improvement projects and initiatives 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Previous experience leading a team. 

• High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and spreadsheets)  

• Experience working within ERP’s (SAP or Manhattan) preferred.   

• Experience driving MHE equipment.
