Quality Officer Materials Management & TPM

De Quality Officer Materials Management & Third Party Manufacturing  is verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van kwaliteits- en compliance aspecten van de Materials Management afdelingen Warehouse, Purchasing en Planning. Daarnaast speelt deze functionaris een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse operatie door het toewijzen van ingrediënten aan productie orders en het samenstellen van batch records van Abbott Zwolle producten die bij Abbott in Spanje worden afgevuld. Het documenteren en analyseren van kwaliteitsgebreken en het implementeren van correctieve en preventieve acties, alsook het begeleiden van audits op de verschillende Abbott Zwolle warehouse lokaties. Eerste aanspreekpunt namens Abbott Zwolle voor rework en product finishing acties. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van het logistiek beleid om te zorgen voor de realisatie van alle noodzakelijke voorwaarden ter ondersteuning van het bedrijfsproces binnen Abbott Zwolle.

Jouw voornaamste taken en verantwoordelijkheden?

• Je reserveert op dagelijkse basis ingrediënten voor productie orders en werkt hiertoe nauw samen met het Planning team

• Je stelt batch records samen voor producten die voor Abbott Zwolle op de vestiging van Abbott in Spanje worden afgevuld.

• Je bent aanspreekpunt voor de vestiging van Abbott logistics in Breda ten aanzien van rework en product finishing activiteiten

• Je bent Subject Matter Expert voor afdelingsdocumenten en zorgt dat de afdelingen audit ready zijn.

• Je begeleidt interne- en externe audits op de Materials Management afdelingen en bent verantwoordelijk voor de opvolging van eventuele findings.

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten en goedkeuren van Quality Records waaronder het analyseren, identificeren en de coördinatie van corrigerende en preventieve acties.

• Je zorgt ervoor dat afwijkingen en klachten conform procedures en richtlijnen worden gemeld, bewaakt en tijdig worden afgehandeld.

• Je ondersteunt de Materials Management teams  door te adviseren en je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de Materials Manager met betrekking tot kwaliteitskwesties. Daarnaast ben je ondersteunend door het trainen en coachen van de Materials Management teams.

• Je draagt kwalitatief bij aan het beleid en jaarplan van Materials Management  ten aanzien van gewenste inrichting van processen en systemen.

• Je zoekt zelfstandig naar mogelijkheden om de kwaliteit en naleving van de procedures en werkinstructies te verbeteren.

Wat voor kennis en ervaring breng jij mee?

• Je beschikt minimaal over een afgeronde HBO opleiding.

• Je bent communicatief vaardig, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.

• Je hebt kennis van statistische en kwaliteitsverbeteringstechnieken.

• Je hebt ervaring met het toepassen van kwaliteitstools zoals Root Cause Onderzoek en risicomanagement.

The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

The Environmental Control Board (ECB) seeks qualified applicants for the Deputy Director position. Why is this role important :

This role is accountable for product quality compliance, food safety management and the delivery of established landmarks to achieve Loblaw quality strategy and objectives. The role works closely with control brand product development and management teams, vendors and other business partners, supporting product reformulation and maintenance projects. The role is the technical expert in ensuring product compliance and specification.

What you'll do:

• Must have functional knowledge of product development of finished goods and retail products. Including key understanding of various manufacturing techniques, knowledge of related ingredients and properties in various applications, knowledge of process parameters that impact final product and any applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Work with product development and vendor to support the development of technical, accurate and comprehensive manufacturing and finished product specifications which take into consideration vendor operating standards and customer expectations.

• Provide proficient technical insight to conduct a detailed product risk assessment throughout the projects to ensure that all risks to the performance of the product from a quality and food safety perspective are considered and recommendations are provided to attain a high level of compliance.

• Work with vendor to conduct appropriate review of ingredient specifications, allergen controls, packaging, operational controls and other applicable validation studies to assess food safety and quality risk mitigations

• Attend productions events, conduct sample evaluation, review product analysis reports, and customer complaints to ensure product quality consistency, sensory and alignment to specifications to determine vendors capability of a successful launch through the warranty period.

• Act with pace and efficiency during investigations and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, trends and non-conformances ensuring that root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions are implemented.

What you bring:

• University education in food science or other applicable degree

• 4-7 years related work experience in a food manufacturing environment in a quality leadership role.

• Solid understanding of the product development process, including specification creation, plant trials, first production events, warranty periods and associated document requirements.

• Solid understanding of HACCP, GFSI, Quality Management Systems and Canadian Regulations and their application in the food industry.

• Strong problem-solving skills that are risk based and data driven, to identify root cause and future actions

Why is this role important :

This role is accountable for product quality compliance, food safety management and the delivery of established landmarks to achieve Loblaw quality strategy and objectives. The role works closely with control brand product development and management teams, vendors and other business partners, supporting product reformulation and maintenance projects. The role is the technical expert in ensuring product compliance and specification.

What you'll do:

• Must have functional knowledge of product development of finished goods and retail products. Including key understanding of various manufacturing techniques, knowledge of related ingredients and properties in various applications, knowledge of process parameters that impact final product and any applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Work with product development and vendor to support the development of technical, accurate and comprehensive manufacturing and finished product specifications which take into consideration vendor operating standards and customer expectations.

• Provide proficient technical insight to conduct a detailed product risk assessment throughout the projects to ensure that all risks to the performance of the product from a quality and food safety perspective are considered and recommendations are provided to attain a high level of compliance.

• Work with vendor to conduct appropriate review of ingredient specifications, allergen controls, packaging, operational controls and other applicable validation studies to assess food safety and quality risk mitigations

• Attend productions events, conduct sample evaluation, review product analysis reports, and customer complaints to ensure product quality consistency, sensory and alignment to specifications to determine vendors capability of a successful launch through the warranty period.

• Act with pace and efficiency during investigations and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, trends and non-conformances ensuring that root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions are implemented.

What you bring:

• University education in food science or other applicable degree

• 4-7 years related work experience in a food manufacturing environment in a quality leadership role.

• Solid understanding of the product development process, including specification creation, plant trials, first production events, warranty periods and associated document requirements.

• Solid understanding of HACCP, GFSI, Quality Management Systems and Canadian Regulations and their application in the food industry.

• Strong problem-solving skills that are risk based and data driven, to identify root cause and future actions

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to optimally engage will all levels and team members with minimal direction.

• Result oriented, passionate about business needs
