QA Lead
£26,486 per annum
38.5 hour week
Week 1 - Wednesday to Saturday 7am - 6.30pm
Week 2 - Thursday to Saturday 7am - 6.30pm
Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for a highly motivated QA Lead to join their clients team.
The successful candidate should take the lead on all the QA tasks, from routine checks of environment, product and equipment, to analysis of stock grades, shelf life monitoring and raw material.
The ideal candidate will embrace the challenge and enjoys working in a small team. This role is the main quality assurance reference, so the successful candidate should be confident working independently and taking dependable decisions.
Responsibilities:
* Actively help the management team with quality assurance tasks
* Keep records of quality assurance checks done
* Report on the results of each process
* Carry out checks on all types of raw materials and packaging
* Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet the company's standards
* Monitor shelf life and storage conditions
* React to any problems to minimize quality issues
* Check finished goods according to the company standards
* Create daily productivity reports
* Coach and guide the QA team in day to day duties
* Maintain relevant paperwork and other data in accordance with the required standards
* Identify and highlight any issues and help put corrective action into place
* Monitor the production process
* Investigate customer complaints and manage quality control
* Be flexible when needed and assist the management team with other tasks
