The Role
As a Quality Practitioner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be instrumental in ensuring quality processes are implemented and upheld across the site.
Day-to-day, you'll ensure the delivery of one of our most important contracts is done the highest possible quality.
- Sit within project team focusing on infrastructure projects
- Provide advice, guidance and support to the project team on all quality related matters
- Review existing processes and look for improvement opportunities
- Identify quality risk and work to mitigate and manage
- Attending delivery review boards
This position may involve travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Oakhanger, near the town of Bordon in East Hampshire.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Experience required of the Quality Practitioner
- Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System
- Experience around process improvement
- Knowledge of quality tools beneficial
- Experience in related industry
Qualifications for the Quality Practitioner
- HNC or equivalent in engineering, quality or other relevant subject
- CQI membership beneficial
- ISO 9001 Auditor preferred but not essential
