A highly reputable & leading UK provider has enlisted Purosearch's help to find a passionate, supportive, personable & experienced Quality Manager to support Home Managers in all quality aspects across their homes in North East.

As a Quality Manager you will work closely with the Home Managers to ensure clinical governance & quality assurance systems are in place & effective, monitoring & reviewing service quality. You will collect data & ensure all policies & procedures are adhered to but above all you will support & mentor colleagues, using your experience to make a difference to the staff & residents lives & see the bigger picture, this is not just a turnaround & leave sort of role!

You will work alongside the Area Director & Home Manager within this role. This role requires travel & occasional overnight stays.

Requirements for Quality Manager:

• Experience In a management position within a Nursing home environment
• RGN/RMN with Active PIN or experience within Nursing homes
• Personable, passionate & wanting to train & mentor managers & staff teams
• Supportive person with business & care acumen, Quality Management experience
• Excellent CQC knowledge and great knowledge of regulation & compliance in the healthcare sector
• Car Driver with full driving licence & the ability to travel across the homes
• Experience in clinical auditing & translational change

Carry out QA on all X-ray equipment in the department and be a representative of radiology to the wider hospital. Work with the X-ray superintendent on monthly and weekly staffing rotas. Ensure housekeeping is undertaken and up to date for Cleaning of X-ray equipment, audits and Dose monitoring. Be familiar with the range of technical applications available on all Imaging Equipment. Trouble-shoot equipment faults and make suitable provision for the service in the event of equipment failure. Assess the clinical justification of Radiography referrals, in line with both national Regulations (IRMER 2017) and local protocols. Act with delegated authority as a practitioner for plain film radiography referrals.Act as an operator under IRMER (2017).Liaise with referral source where clarification is required regarding selection of the most clinically appropriate imaging examination. Act as a point of advice for imaging referrers and for patient enquiries regarding their referral. Be a patient advocate in Radiation protection and Safeguarding issues.
