We are recruiting for a Divisional Director for Nursing and Quality for Children who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Reporting to the Divisional Director for Women and Children's Divisional Director for Nursing and Quality for Children and Young people will work as part of a quadrant within Women and Children's services that includes a Divisional Medical Director, Divisional Director of Operations, and the Director of Midwifery. The Divisional Director for Nursing and Quality for Children and Young people will provide senior strategic visible clinical and professional leadership, for nursing and allied health professions working within Paediatrics and neonatology.
Providing specialist expertise and taking specific responsibility for patient safety, quality and experience, the post holder will promote quality, innovation, productivity, and performance that improves quality of care and patient outcomes, driving transformation through agreed improvement models.

The Divisional Director for Nursing and Quality for Children will provide highly visible and inspiring nursing leadership to all nurses and support roles. Championing a professional and open culture which empowers staff to deliver quality care with compassion acting as a role model for the behaviours and high professional standards which are expected.
Be accountable for the creation of an environment in which efficient delivery of safe patient care is in line with the fundamental and evidenced based standards to ensure a framework of safe practices exists.
Be responsible in actively participating, contributing, and implementing the Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Strategy and the Quality Strategy across the Division.
Actively participate in the Clinical Excellence pathway, ensuring that all clinical areas progress through the local accreditation framework to achieve excellence within their sphere of responsibility. Develop and enable leadership through a shared governance pathway.
