Director, Image Quality and Imaging Platform
Job Description
The IQ team leader has a key position in the CT Systems team. The primary responsibility of the IQ team leader is to have an end-to-end view on the Image Quality in our CT systems. This implies the ownership of the system physics and algorithms (with key focus on reconstruction algorithms), as well as the platform development which focusses on the practical implementations and product realizations of the algorithms and the link to all other sub systems.
The IQ team will cover IQ aspects over the full product life cycle, ranging from early stage (advance) development, through new product introduction to sustaining activities for the install base.
Your role:
- Demonstrated ability to take clinical needs at system, break down it to lower levels with comprehensive and explicit specifications.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct and lead technical reviews
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills to multiple levels of management
- Evidence of high initiative and graduate level research skills on previous projects.
You're the right fit if:
- Master of Science in Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, and at least 5 years professional industry experience in the relevant technical discipline.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in CT physics as well as proficiency with the image/signal processing and algorithm development
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills including Ability to interface well with internal and external customers, Ability to document and explain complicated design or problem to non-specialists in a clear and understandable manner
- Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a global team working environment
- Demonstrated ability to take clinical needs at system, break down it to lower levels with comprehensive and explicit specifications.

- This is a hybrid, role and only candidates living in the Orange, OH area will be considered.

Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position is $154,000 to $285,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
