Your new role

Formal Qualifications in Quality Management are useful but not essential. You will have experience working within a manufacturing business (consumer products is an advantage), supporting overall business objectives by driving improvements in Quality and Compliance. You will enjoy solving problems, and be process focused, able to use metrics to understand performance across relevant business functions, and proactively drive changes that will enable continuous improvement of those metrics. You will also have the ambition to grow your team and play a key leadership role within this rapidly expanding company.

Your Role:
This purpose of this hands on, highly operational, client focused role is to work alongside the Senior Project Manager to scope, plan and manage the successful delivery of large and complex face to face, virtual and digital learning and engagement programmes

Responsibilities:

• Manage operational risk within sensible parameters of QA Project and QA Business needs.
• Working alongside the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large complex learning and engagement programmes in line with the plan and budget.
• Work closely with client Stakeholders and Solution Architect to scope the objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, assumptions, risks and quality acceptance criteria.
• Support programme specific resourcing through clear role(s) definition, recruitment and quality assurance.

Skills & Qualification:

• Project Management experience is essential due to the scale and complexity of the programmes
• Fully familiar with project lifecycle and methodologies and hold a Prince 2 Practitioner or similar industry recognised qualification
• Experience of complex scheduling
• Experience of resource management
• Experience of effectively managing or mitigating against risk
• Excellent document writing skills

Your new role

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance is adhered to across the Company's portfolio of sites (including flexible power generation, BESS, wind and solar) sites
• Accountable for the management of statutory environmental permit requirements, such as but not limited to, emissions monitoring and reporting
• Responsible for the maintenance of UK-ETS permits and procedures, including annual verifications
• Ensuring all new sites in development or construction obtain statutory environmental permits in line with key project timescales
• Providing key input intothe portfolio carbon reporting procedures (ESOS, ISO 50001 etc.)
• Managing variations to existing environmental permits that may be required
• Maintaining and establishing long-term relationships with environmental regulators and third-party consultants
• Act as internal expert on environmental legislation and regulation and improve environmental awareness throughout the business
• Representing the business at workshops, industry forums and working groups as required
• Carrying out internal environmental auditing and host audits of our sites by the Regulators
• Responsibility for assessing new and changing environmental legislation and providing responses to key government consultations
• Be a key consultee at relevant design process meetings, attending and providing input at all stages of the design process and lifecycle of projects.
• Working closely with key internal stakeholders on all environmental matters
• Travel will be required as part of the role, therefore own transport is essential with occasional overnight stays if necessary

What you need to succeed

• Degree in a relevant field
• Membership (or working towards) of a relevant professional body (i.e. IEMA, IES, IAQM etc.)
• Proven experience in environmental management and compliance practices
• Demonstrable experience in managing environmental permitting processes, preferably with MCP's and specified generators
• Demonstrable experience in analysing complex analytical environmental datasets
• Greenhouse gas calculation and reporting experience would be desirable

Job Title: Service Delivery Manager
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucester

This role appointment is dependent on the successful candidate holding or passing an appropriate level of Security Clearance

Role:
In your role you will provide day to day guidance, support and mentoring to a team of experts who are delivering on strategic objectives for our customers. Being a visible and trusted advisor within the customer organisation, developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders within our customer partnership to be the main pivot point within QA to create integrated working within multiple service lines. To setup and lead regular service reviews with your customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and mentor new and existing team members
Create and maintain project plans and track progress to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes
Liaise internally with colleagues to ensure all milestones and quality standards are achieved
To identify and raise issues that risk project delivery and/or agreed costs and timescales
Develop solutions to risks or escalate as necessary to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate them
