Your Role
As the Metrolink Integration & Assurance Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester your responsibilities will include leading the Project Engineering team, owning the engineering assurance processes, and interfacing with external bodies for safety authorisation when needed. You will support projects in obtaining approval from TfGM’s internal safety panel and as required you will update Metrolink’s Case for Safety.

You will have a strong multidisciplinary background in railway engineering with a focus on engineering assurance and risk management on rail infrastructure projects.
You will have the ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to achieve the best results and have considerable experience in a rail related environment. You will be a chartered engineer or equivalent or working towards this with a clear timeline for achieving professional registration.

This is a permanent role with a competitive salary of £69,312 - £78,011 per annum depending on skills and experience.
