The University of Brighton Academies Trust is seeking a qualified, skilled and professional Safety and Compliance Manager to promote, develop and establish a positive safety culture within its professional services teams and academies to meet its legal requirements in terms of Health, Safety and Compliance. The postholder will take responsibility for operational matters relating to Health and Safety Planning and Management and contribute to the Estates & Facilities Management Strategic plan.

The post holder will report to the Director of Estates & Facilities Management and will be the primary point of contact for all Health, Safety and Compliance matters. The postholder will be responsible for effective day to day operational support, management, monitoring and development of Health and Safety for 15 Trust academies and Central Service Teams and their locations.

The role includes the use of CAFM software to connect service users and to improve efficiencies. The postholder will have a proven background in Health and Safety Compliance with excellent management skills to develop, drive and guide our central and academy teams.

The successful applicant will be experienced at developing a positive Health and Safety Culture within a multi-site organisation, achieving high standards of health and safety management and have the maturity to build strong relationships with academy staff and their respective teams to implement, monitor and review ways of working to successfully meet these standards. They will have responsibility for all operational elements of health and safety management across the Trust.

DaVita’s Compliance team, Team Quest, identifies, develops, and implements strategies to mitigate risk in a quickly evolving health care regulatory landscape.  As a Compliance Manager, you will join a team of highly motivated individuals and will be a key player in enhancing compliance oversight.

Overarching responsibilities:

Oversight and responsibility for the proactive Email Monitoring Program. Management and oversight of day-to-day operations of the Compliance QUESTionLine. Ownership and maintenance of data and reporting for the Compliance Policies Team. Support Compliance Director on special projects as needed.

QUESTionLine Responsibilities:

• Review inquiries received and triage as appropriate.  For compliance questions, provide timely policy guidance to teammates and document clearly within system (EthicsPoint).
• Understand and be able to interpret compliance policies to provide appropriate guidance.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and potential risk in an easily digestible manner.

Qualifications/Skills/Behaviors Required for Success in this Position:

What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced compliance supervisor to serve as a Team Lead overseeing a team Senior Analysts and Analysts executing BSA/AML/Sanctions and regulatory compliance functions on behalf of our clients. What You Will Need:

Job Summary:

The Manager of Global Trade Compliance is responsible to ensure Ferguson Divisions are following Customs Laws and Regulations of imported/exported merchandise. This position is also responsible for the accurate classification of merchandise and customs clearance of all Ferguson Divisions imported product. This includes a duty exposure of over $60 million and compliance with all U.S. Government programs and regulations to ensure timely delivery of merchandise. This position will liaise with logistics and other internal functional groups, external service providers, vendors, regulatory agencies, and customs brokers to ensure that product flow meets the demands of the regulatory law ordinances to avoid risks that may result in fines and penalties to the organization.

This position provides analytical, research and organizational support related to customs and trade compliance to further the Company’s efforts on new and existing product development, vendor selection and risk management. This position identifies and manages compliance risks and recommends opportunities to improve workflows.

As an overview, Ferguson annually imports over $435MM of merchandise out of 52 unique ports across 17 countries in Asia, Europe and South America, processes over 5,000 US Customs entries and moves over 12,000 containers worth over $40MM in freight spend.

Primary Functions:

• Oversees, directs and maintains overall Customs Compliance Procedures to ensure all Ferguson Divisions are operating standard processes related to entry release of merchandise and has knowledge of all areas of the U.S. Customs Regulations, including the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Section Notes, researches Customs binding rulings, and Export Regulations.
• Monitors regulatory and legislative changes. Communicates the changes internally as well as change processes to follow new regulations and laws.
• Direct supervision of 3 Import/Export Specialists who are responsible for Import Customs Compliance, Classification, Finance and daily brokerage operations, as well as Export operations.
• Ensure overall corporate compliance with proper recordkeeping, valuation, quantity, country of origin and classification.
• Supplier Management duties include working with freight forwarders, U.S. Customs Officers, Customs Brokers, internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to Customs Import and Export Regulations. Liaise with Company and outside Legal Counsel on customs business.
• Overall responsibility for implementing and managing all Customs & Border Protection programs such as corporate security procedures for C-TPAT Trade Compliance.
• Administer Customs training programs to Ferguson associates that include working across internal departments; Risk Management, Product Safety and Testing, Ferguson Global Asia. Sourcing, Accounting, Product Development, Distribution, and Logistics, etc.

Position Summary: 

Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Systems North America, the SAP Senior Manager is responsible for managing large project activities that support the development of Airbus in North America, including Airbus Divisions and Subsidiaries in the United States, Canada, Central and Latin America. In this role, he or she leads the different initiatives related to SAP systems improvements and transformations. These can be Systems, Processes and integration standards as well as Change Management. He or she is accountable for the different integration projects by leading the Finance workstreams, ensuring that Finance requirements are always implemented.

The person is in charge of a global project portfolio and ensures the full lifecycle of projects by following the Airbus project management methodology. They are responsible for delivering the systems solutions through to entry into service. This role will interact with all the Airbus Functions including Procurement, Information Management, Customer Services, Logistic, Production, Human-Resources and with multiple Stakeholders from various entities and subsidiaries.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial systems and processes comply with relevant laws and regulations and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and legal compliance of the financial operations. Primary Responsibilities:

 

1- Project Management (40%) :

• Responsible for managing SAP solutions and projects collaborating with multiple sub-function teams that are involved in the analysis, development, customization and implementation of SAP applications.

• Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish scope, cost, schedule, quality, deliverables to deliver a new or modified business capability through the execution of an SAP project.

• Ensure projects are completed within committed time and budget requirements and are integrated with other applications. Provide guidance for SAP implementation methodologies and supports policies, standards and procedures to continue new innovative development strategies and ideas.

• Oversee user provisioning and de-provisioning, ensuring appropriate access rights.

• Manage and maintain access control lists (ACLs) for financial systems, databases, and applications.

• Monitor user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with security and SOD policies.

3- Financial Reporting and Data Integrity (20%) :

• Prepare, review, and oversee the production of financial reports, statements, and disclosures in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

• Manage financial data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Oversee data collection, consolidation, and validation processes.

• Administer and optimize financial reporting systems and tools. Ensure they are up-to-date, efficient, and user-friendly.

• Ensure financial reporting complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Stay informed about updates and changes in reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide insights and data to assist in decision-making.

• Communicate financial results and insights to senior management, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders. Explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Strong foundation and competency in SAP Analytics Cloud, BPC, Tableau, Alteryx, SAP BW and IBM Planning Analytics platforms.
