Quality Control Manager required for our client in the Sandwich area.
This is an exciting full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, 8am to 5pm, with an hour's lunch. Competitive salary from £45,000 per annum, dependent upon experience, plus a host of benefits to include:
- 31 days annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays - increasing with length of service
- Auto enrolled pension scheme
- Healthcare, Death in Service, Private Medical insurance including dependants
- Annual bonus scheme

- Great working environment
The ideal candidate will tick three main boxes - technical experience, managerial experience, and just as importantly be the right fit for the team and company. In regard to the latter, you will need to be adaptable, embrace the open communication style of our client, work as part of the team (which means you will spend time in the lab carrying out testing), have confidence and a level of humility, be dynamic, proactive, forward thinking and - once again - adaptable! This is because there can be sudden changes in process or structure, or a sudden request, which needs to be embraced and handled with positivity and a huge can-do attitude!
In addition, you must have HPLC experience, as this is a hands-on role, experience in FTIR, Karl Fischer, GC, and analytical testing. Please note, this is not an R&D role. You will also understand QMS and the regulations side of things. Part of your duties will be to organise the weekly testing schedule and you will liaise with the Technical Manager. Other duties will include: adherence to GMP requirements; verifying testing data; responsibility for key quality documentation; developing methods and SOPs; undertaking laboratory investigations; responsibility for QC equipment; coordination of analytical testing activities; developing validation protocols and reports; training of QC staff.
If you've had good number of years as a Senior Analyst or are already holding a QC Manager position, I'd love to hear from you.
CVs in Word please.
