Platform Property Care has an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Defects Manager to join our Grounds Maintenance team as our Subject Matter Expert for all of Platform Housing new build sites landscaping under development.
What could you be doing?
In this key role you will be responsible for ensuring landscaping works on new developments are delivered on time, to high standards and contract specification whilst being the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
You’ll have a real input into new development scheme design and maintenance regime being involved with the pre-planning and pre-site review. Working with our Development Land team you will lead on all Grounds throughout the build process, managing the defects until sites are complete and then handed over to the Grounds Maintenance Delivery Managers and their teams to manage and maintain on a day to day.
Some things we need from you:
• Proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of delivering horticulture and landscape maintenance techniques and industry best practice including tree and hedge conservation
• Experience of working day to day with external stakeholders with excellent relationship building and maintenance skills
• Used to working with site plans and planting diagrams with a key eye for detail
• Experience in monitoring, measuring, and managing performance and addressing under-performance and of delivering works on time
• It would be desirable if you have a C & G/ National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Horticulture, and if you were an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and working towards Corporate Membership
• Management and H & S Management qualifications would also be desirable but not essential

This is a mobile role with a van and fuel card provided so a driving licence is essential. The area covered by this role is group wide and covers the central areas - Birmingham/ the West Midlands/ Leicestershire/ Lincolnshire/ Derbyshire/ Worcestershire & Herefordshire so you would need to live in these areas. We have group offices in Solihull and Worcester. You will need to travel extensively across all of Platform Housing Group’s new development portfolio, and on occasion respond to meetings outside of work hours.

Reporting to the Compliance Director for Source To Pay (Direct & Indirect), this role will be driving control transformation and oversight over the SOX controls across the Supply Chain owned areas. Dans le cadre de la gestion de ces 2 agréments de production, vous intégrerez une équipe dynamique localisée sur plusieurs sites et responsable de veiller à la conformité aux agréments règlementaires cités ci-dessus.

Vos missions

Vos responsabilités se partageront sur 2 plans:

1 / le plan local, en veillant à la conformité à la réglementation aéronautique des activités d'un ou plusieurs sites de production

2/ le plan transverse, en pilotant des sujets et projets rayonnant sur tout Airbus Atlantic.

Les principales activités seront les suivantes:

• Assurer la gestion de la conformité à la réglementation en interface avec Airbus Commercial
• Capter et instruire les évolutions industrielles au regard de la règlementation
• Coordonner les audits EASA et piloter la gestion des écarts associés
• Veiller à ce que la liste de capacité reflète les activités du site
• Contribuer au maintien de la documentation associée à notre démonstration de conformité pouvant inclure la veille réglementaire et la veille documentaire
• Contribuer au process de gestion du personnel effectuant la libération des produits
• Gérer les arrangements DO/PO et IPO/PO du périmètre selon le programme avion confié
• Apporter un support proactif au POA Responsible Manager et POA Quality Representative de votre périmètre pour garantir la conformité des activités à la règlementation aéronautique, incluant la déclinaison des évolutions réglementaires et les attentes des autorités
• Mener des projets d’amélioration et de digitalisation des activités inhérentes à la conformité règlementaire
• Identifier les risques et opportunités en lien avec la conformité règlementaire de votre périmètre au sein des équipes du site et de façon individuelle au regard des activités quotidiennes
• Développer une culture de la sécurité produit auprès des équipes locales en étant un ambassadeur des exigences réglementaires auprès des équipes locales

Ces responsabilités s’exerceront avec des interfaces variées en interne Airbus Atlantic, au sein d’Airbus Commercial, avec l'OSAC pour el compte de l'EASA.

Titulaire d'un Diplôme d'Ingénieur ou équivalent avec une dominante Qualité, vous justifiez de plus de 10 années d'expérience dans un environnement industriel dont 5 ans minimum en aéronautique.

Ce poste fera appel à vos connaissances de la règlementation aéronautique Part21G et vos compétences en résolution de problèmes et coordination de projet. A ce titre, vous disposez d'une première expérience autour de le gestion des agréments.

Vous serez amené à interagir avec de nombreux métiers de l’entreprise et devrez faire preuve d’une grande capacité d’écoute, d’analyse et de synthèse pour proposer des solutions locales susceptibles d’être standardisées au sein de toutes les sites et filiales d’Airbus Atlantic.

Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced global trade professional to join a growing legal compliance team. In this role, you will manage global trade-related procedures and projects while also participating in and supporting the broader Applied Materials Global Trade and Legal & Compliance Organization teams. You will report to the Senior Global Trade Manager for Due Diligence.

Working closely with team members across the Global Trade organization, as well as other compliance and business functions, you drive execution of daily sanctions, restricted party, and due diligence processes around the globe, performing reviews of customers, vendors, and other Applied Materials business partners to resolve identified issues according to established criteria or escalate to senior reviewers, as necessary. The Trade Manager will support the resolution of screening flags resulting from daily ongoing monitoring activities and direct maintenance of appropriate records. The Trade Manager will also contribute to routine audits of screening reviews and reporting metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end reviews of customers and vendors in order to ensure compliance with existing and emerging sanctions and export control laws and regulations.
• Perform daily restricted party screening and enhanced due diligence checks, resolving/escalating identified flags as appropriate, monitoring results, and releasing blocks as needed.
• Identify and triage compliance diligence flags identified during new customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring of customers and business partners.
• Collaborate with Trade Compliance team members and internal business stakeholders to identify potential process enhancements and develop new processes accordingly. Identify opportunities for greater efficiency in daily activities and work with cross-functional teams for improved operations.
• Support development and drive automation technologies/solutions to help streamline current manual processes.
• Manage records of screening reviews and approvals and respond to requests for information from a variety of business stakeholders.
• Conduct routine screening audits and root cause analyses to test processes and identify gaps; Work with management to develop remediation solutions.
• Provide training in support of compliance due diligence and Sanctioned Party list screening.
• Support ad-hoc Trade Compliance initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Graduate degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in global export trade compliance, including the use of systems.
• Experience and comprehensive knowledge of export control and sanctions regulations, including EAR and OFAC.
• Experience in conducting compliance due diligence assessments.
• Ability to summarize complex data into succinct, actionable reviews for reviewers.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity in trade compliance activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, flexible, impeccable integrity, and good judgment.
• Collaborative by nature and able to build strong partnerships with other Applied functions such as order management, legal teams, and business-facing groups.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, global environment and ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and complex workload. 
• Self-motivated, driven, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong presentation, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and data visualization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor or Technology background preferred.
• Additional language skills are a plus.

U.S. Salary Range:

$92,000.00 - $126,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
