Penetration Tester, Senior
Key Role:
Find possible vulnerabilities while using penetration testing tools and techniques, to ensure security of computer systems, applications, servers, or networks. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with mobile telecommunications systems
Experience with security testing tools, including Burp Suite, SQLMap, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, or Cobalt Strike
Experience with network, application, and external penetration testing
Experience with creating Rules of Engagement (ROE), test plans, and scripts to aid in testing efforts
Experience with creating Technical Assessment Reports that detail findings and remediation efforts
Knowledge of Network access, identity, and access management, including public key infrastructure, OAuth, OpenID, SAML, or SPML
Ability to keep up with the latest vulnerability information sources, including alerts, advisories, errata, and bulletins
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with conducting vulnerability scans and recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems
Experience with network hardware devices and functions and network traffic analysis methods
Knowledge of incident categories, incident responses, and timelines for responses
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills
GPEN, OSCP or CEH Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
