Personnel Selection are recruiting for a prestigious client that provides electronic products internationally. They are based in the south of the UK in Whitchurch Hampshire.
Due to expansion of workload, they are now seeking an additional Quality Assurace Assistant to join their friendly existing team. You will be an essential and valuable member of staff. This position is Monday to Friday standard days shift hours. 39 hours a week with an early finish on Fridays.
Skills & Requirements for the role:
• Confident, enthusiastic person with the ability to focus on multiple tasks.
• Presentable appearance with good communication skills.
• Good English verbal and written skills.
• Understanding of Maths to compliment fault and data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• IT literacy essential. (Microsoft office) – strong in Word and Excel. MSTeams. Flowchart and auditing software.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and techniques essential.
• Fault investigation and reporting process. Auditing and Reporting.
Knowledge of the folllowing advantgeous but not essential:
• Sharepoint, flows, apps
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental management systems
• Electro/Mechanical Engineering background.
• Understanding of inspection equipment/techniques.
• Metrology equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties :
• To assist with activities throughout various QA/QC departments as needed.
• Assist with document control. Creation of new and amendments to documented management systems.
• Assist with Audits.
• Assist with Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities as demands dictate.
• This may include physical inspection, assist in fault finding, assist in processing non-conformance as well as array of QA activities.
• Assist with QC issues. Fault finding and liaising with various suppliers and customers, internal and external, at various levels of management.
• Working mainly in the Office and occasional shop floor environment.
• Changing demands dictate multitasking and flexible approach to tasks.
• Ability to work as part of team and individually as required.
• To be self-motivated and meet targets will be key.
• Some travel, UK and overseas may be required.
