Your new role

• Perform thorough analyses on the origin of funds to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Examine data from multiple sources to confirm the accuracy and consistency of the client profile, and reach out to clients or other relevant individuals when needed.
• Collaborate with counsel and Senior Executive to obtain further details or clarifications.
• Accurately record information, evaluations, and documents in the case management system, including preparing an analysis and report.
• 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday
• Salary £24,000-£28,000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a Regional Business Assurance Officer to join a police force in Newbury. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring intelligence management and compliance within counter-terrorism operations. This position is only open to applicants who currently hold or have recently held DV clearance. Applicants with lower vetting levels cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide assurance that intelligence policies and procedures (NSIM, IHM, RRD) are applied consistently, conducting monthly peer reviews.
2. Offer guidance on intelligence systems to peers, communicate system updates, and ensure security compliance.
3. Review decision-making processes to ensure outcomes are appropriate and thoroughly documented.
4. Ensure data relevancy and accuracy on intelligence systems, assist with technical enquiries, and handle user management.
5. Liaise with national and regional practitioner groups to resolve non-hardware issues in intelligence systems.
6. Conduct audits of intelligence systems, working closely with the National Audit Team to ensure compliance.
7. Stay up-to-date with intelligence systems by attending seminars and passing on knowledge to the team.

Requirements:

• Current or recent DV clearance (mandatory).

Regional Quality Manager required for a Tier 1 contractor based in Berkshire. The company are one of the most successfully privately owned profitable contractors in the country and their Southern operations are based from their office near Reading and turnover in excess of £1 billion a year.

They target schemes between £20 and £90 million on frameworks and repeat business opportunities with long term clients and will also identify and target single stage regen and development schemes up to £150 million - typical schemes are large schools and multi phased education schemes, student accommodation, PRS developments, high rise office and resi schemes, distribution hubs and large multi use retail and leisure developments - a really wide and diverse range of projects to work on.

The role is to provide quality and systems support to the business at bid, preconstruction, on site delivery and commissioning through to defects and warranty periods. You will be responsible for the companies quality plan and be involved in early stage works to ensure compliance in terms of the legal obligations of the wider business, full compliance with any external manufacturer and working with the supply chain to check and and ensure compliance of their independent quality systems. You will be responsible for checking of on-site quality with the delivery teams and sub-contractors and be expected to audit and maintain a register and reporting procedure for NCR's and the wider best practices. You will manage, update and amend the regional plan and work to ensure compliance with the relevant ISO standards and other industry benchmarks. You will also investigate latent defects and other short and long term compliance issues so the wider business can learn and develop strategies for continuous improvement.

The Security Control Centre (SCC) must be staffed 24-hours per day, 7 days per week. The Security Control Centre Operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyse, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to business, the brand and or employees.

This position is responsible for using best practices for communicating information surrounding those incidents to the Security Contract Managers / Supervisor as appropriate. The Security Control Centre Operators will monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch associated calls via telephone to alarm response Companies, the Control Centre Operators will also operate access control technology.

The Security Control Centre operator will escalate both crisis and non-crisis incidents to the Dedicated Contracts Manager / Supervisor for regional Coverage as per standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to.

· Answering routine calls, monitoring alarms and video equipment including door alarms and provides general assistance to both employees and Management.

· Dispatching security officers as required via telephone and/or email.

· Maintaining various records of communications and events

· Communicating and disseminating information,

· Accurately maintaining control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room.

· Accurately logs all equipment and keys signed out and returned by Security or other parties, informing the relevant Management / Supervisor of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.

· Proactively monitoring all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Monitors and responds to all security and safety system alarms

· Answering and responding to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms.

· Scheduling of Officers rotas & ADHOC Duties requested by the Clients / Management.
