About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We're seeking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join our Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) section based in the Brackley area.
The primary focus of this role is to work within a section of the HS2 project, ensuring that Completion document is embedded and embraced by the Construction Delivery teams, in order that all relevant completions assurance records are collated and retained.
You will report to the Section Quality & Completions Manager. You will work in a small team for your sector, to implement the quality and completions strategy throughout the construction phase ensuring documentation is collated to enable progressive handover of structures to facilitate project completion. You will drive the process of collation of information to prepare for handing over competed documentation in line with HS2’s Technical Certification Management Plan to gain L3 certification for Single Assurance Packs following EKFBs procedures for handover and completion. You will understand and implement quality, technical assurance and completions requirements, working closely with the construction delivery teams to balance these against programme constraints and effective methods of delivery. You will support the delivery of all section related, construction phase quality, assurance and
completions related activities to ensure the timely handover of project assets.

You will provide competent quality management advice to promote compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 in the review, audit, certification, induction and management of procedures and processes in electrical infrastructure construction projects.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Provide Quality Management advice about ISO 9001: 2015 to other advisors, managers, employees, contractors and clients, both in the tendering and construction phases. Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book & growth into various export markets they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Non-conformances within processing, facilitating and progressing

Supporting manufacturing process improvements

Developing and creating inspection plans

Contributing to manufacturing process development through control plans and PMFEA

Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP documentation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Quality background essential
Knowledge of APQP processes aerospace or automotive is essential
Experience in manufacturing environment
Experience in RCCA methodologies


Benefits Package:

£35,000 - £40,000
