Service Care Solutions are looking for a Control Centre Officer to work within the Transport for Greater Manchester on an initial 8-week contract.

Job role/Responsibilities:
To deliver a 24/7 multi modal control room. Manage all operations of TfGM transport network and facilities. Contributing to the function lead on incidents/events whilst continuing to deliver the organisation expectations.
- Multi Modal monitoring, reporting and interventions.
- Active and dynamic management of TfGM modal transport network in GM always.
- Participate in incident response and special event plans, whilst monitoring the network.
- Act as a triage escalation point for member of the public via emergency call points and operators via the emergency incident line on Leigh Guided Busway.
- Manage and develop relationships effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service to the travelling public, operators, stakeholders, and internal TfGM departments.
- Accurately monitor data and identify any inconsistencies, conflicting and reoccurring input.
- Monitor all TfGM premises and assets, providing Out of Hours service for Fire and Intruder alarms on bus interchanges.
Knowledge/Experience required:
- Prioritise complex and technical data to identify fluctuations to initiate interventions and act accordingly to support the operation of the network.
- Experience of collation of information and dissemination to both internal/external stakeholders to defined deadlines.
- Experience of working in a busy multi agency environment, providing ad hoc information to various audiences with the ability to identify any conflicts in operational activity.
- Experience of providing excellent customer service in various formats to stakeholders, operators, and customers in various formats.
- Ability to respond positively to varying workloads in a pressurised environment.
- Experience of working with various databases/information systems to ascertain performance levels whilst maintaining confidentiality agreements.
Education:
- Educated to A level or equivalent.
