Quality Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor based in Oxfordshire. This opportunity comes with a fantastic opportunity to work om one of the biggest civil engineering projects in the UK and be a part of their Major Projects team.

About the role of Quality Manager

The role of the Quality Manager will be to provide support to both the site team and senior management team of the project, whilst maintaining the business standards across sites. This opportunity will be to work on one of the biggest and most complex infrastructure projects in the UK.

Responsibilities for Quality Manager

• Conduct external audits and quality audits with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Deliver Quality assurance training across sites.
• Collaborating closely with the client achieving their quality standards.

Requirements for Quality Manager

• Strong understanding of ISO standards and regulation changes
• An understanding of integrated Management systems
• Previous experience conducting site investigations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor as Major Project Quality Assurance Manager to join one of the biggest construction schemes in the UK.

Using your previous experience within a similar role, you will be responsible for:

• The management of project systems.
• Ensured standards are compliant with ISO9001, 14001, 45001 and 44001.
• Conduct external's audits within the business.
• Lead and support a team of Quality Auditors and supporting their career progression and development.
• Attend Client meetings, representing the business and their standards.
• Produce reports containing quality metrics.

The ideal candidate will preferably come from a Tier 1 background, with experience working on schemes circa £100M. A strong understanding of integrated management systems and ISO standards. The nature of this role will require an ambitious, driven and problem solving approach as you will reporting in directly to the project director.
