Quality Assurance Officer (Hybrid) needed in Preston, Paying £15ph - Reference: RQ1151679
The role will be working from home but the candidate will occasionally need to visit the office in Preston
Working hours will be 15-20 hrs per week
Context
• The Digital Catalogue programme is led by Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria and is looking to bring together a single set of information about local services
• The purpose of the work is not to create a new “Directory”, but to deliver a process to assure / check service information and then make that set of data available to be re-used across existing directories and processes
• It is about ensuring that the same information is found across all searches and delivering a more efficient assurance process. By centralising this assurance process, this ensures that information can be checked regularly, and hence will improve the experience for both frontline worker and citizens alike
The programme is growing, and we need more people to support the work to capture and assure/maintain the information. People will work as part of a small virtual team and will be assigned responsibility for checking / verifying the accuracy of information relating to the services of named organisations.

There is an existing list of the potential tags and the role is to identify the most appropriate tags – in terms of the type of service (is it mental health support, alcohol and drug support, befriending service etc) and also the potential target audiences for the services
• to check every month that the information has not changed – by reviewing the information and following the existing links to ensure they remain accurate
• Liaise with the organisations as necessary where there are external questions about their information
