As a member of the Management Team, you will provide clear leadership and vision for the implementation of the Company Wide Quality Strategy to exceed customer expectations for product quality, logistics and cost. You are responsible to lead, strategize and structure to ensure that A & One has the best-in-class quality assurance and controls management systems. You are also required to define, monitor and report on key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement across all quality functions to achieve operational excellence.
- Work closely with the Management Team and Stakeholders to define and implement the company strategy map.
- Lead the Quality Department to implement effective quality assurance and control processes to ensure that the product delivered meet customers’ requirement and achieves company quality objectives.
- Review/prepare, administer and implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other operational procedures in accordance with the technical specifications, customer's needs and requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices.
- Identify and integrate relevant QA software into existing quality process flow to increase work efficiency and productivity.
- Establish, implement and maintain Quality systems in compliance with ISO9001, AS9100 and ISO13485 standards.
- Define, monitor and report on company key performance indicators.
- Work closely with all departments (production, engineering, sales) to ensure that we can deliver 100% On-Time Delivery, Zero Defects and Zero Customer Returns on all customers’ orders.
- Support sales team when required by working together to liaise with external customers and stakeholders to deliver timely corrective actions.
- Lead internal team to resolve quality escalation by customers through systematic root cause analysis for effective and timely corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement programs such as annual quality planning, lean six sigma improvement projects, quality audits, etc to achieve operational excellence
- Implement risk assessment systems for all critical control points in the whole quality process flow.
- Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic calibration of test, measuring equipment and tools.
- Develop and continuously build staff competencies, skills and knowledge through competency gap analysis and team members’ career progression and development plan.
- Sustain excellent workplace health and safety rules and regulations compliances.
Mandatory Experience
- 8 to 10 years of senior quality management experience in precision engineering, contract manufacturing of complex semiconductor equipment, or wafer fab environment.
- High Proficiency and knowledge in CMM Programming, measurement and calibration equipment
- Knowledge of quality systems
- Knowledge and experience in surface treatment
- Experience in writing non-conformance and corrective actions reports (e.g. 8D, F23, NCR) for customers
- Certified Quality Manager
- Enjoys solving complex challenges with exceptional internal and cross departmental team communication and management experience
- High Proficiency in both English and Chinese to write, communicate and translate amongst non-English speaking team members
