Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for a talented, experienced Software Automation Test Lead with solid leadership/communication skills and a passion for testing software in Payments and Banking Domain.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be supporting and leading a team through the Application Testing Lifecycle. This will entail collaborating with development, business, and other SQA test teams. You will work closely with teams to identify automation scope and automate required test scenarios. Position offers location flexibility. We are primarily looking for someone located in the Princeton, New York, and Boston Areas to be able to coordinate tasks with teams located in China/India/Boston/Toronto.
What you will be responsible for
As Software Automation Test Lead, you will
Work closely with contributors in all parts of the Agile SDLC, so will be required to confidently represent the Automation Testing at regular stakeholder meetings such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective.
Participate in manual Functional testing activities, as needed
Involved in Automating Scripts Development on a sprint-by-sprint basis
Ownership and Accountability for all Automation functional acceptance and Regression testing activities.
Building strong partnership with other technology & business leaders and peers.
Work closely with the Product Owner and others on requirements analysis, planning Automation scripting, and execution
Be a subject matter expert to lease with Business and technology teams.
Train and mentor team members spread around the Globe.
The candidate should have excellent skills in designing application Automation Functional Test Scripts Development and problem-solving skills, someone with creativity and self-motivation to deliver on mission critical projects with tight timelines and competing priorities.
Self-motivated, self-driven and must be able to work independently without requiring close supervision.
Quick learning, result oriented, proactive team member and ability to accomplish work within periodic deadlines.
Excellent knowledge in SDLC process - include creating, maintaining and executing automation functional test plans, writing test scripts against software platforms, communicating test results, and participating in day to day QA Automation activities.
Exceptionally Strong SQL writing skills for Database Testing to ensure data integrity, validating database consistency and verifying accurate transaction
Ability to lead Payments & Banking applications Automation Scripts Development.
Excellent Communication, Time Management, Reporting and Analytical Skills
These skills will help you succeed in this role
SWIFT MT/MX Raw Message's payments processing knowledge
Strong SQL Knowledge
Exposure to JIRA, GIT, UNIX/LINUX
Automation Tool like (Selenium and Java, Python, any languages)
Stong JS/VB Scripting knowledge
Knowledge of Cash/Payment Platform
Ability to effectively articulate testing challenges and provide solutions
Deal well with a shift in testing scope or time sensitive requests
Attention to details and thinking outside the box
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Have led a team for at least 2 years
Proficient in Microsoft Tools
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology field or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years’ work experience in Payments processing platform Testing
5-7 years’ work experience in Banking Domain Testing
5-7 years QA Automation Scripts Developmet in Java, SQL, C++, Python or other related languages
5-7 years’ experience with testing tools (such as UFT, Ranorex, Selenium, Cucumber)
Min. 3 years’ experience of following the Agile SDLC

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
