How You will Contribute:
The role focuses primarily on Procurement transactional/spot buy activities. He/she drives better spend compliance & consolidation by checking and channeling the PR to the right procurement process. The person will load and maintain E-Catalogs (future state), help maintain the master data, set up the vendors into the systems (including onboarding.). He/she will assist in Help Desk type role (both internal and for suppliers), load contracts and run standard reports.
Work in full compliance with the company Procurement Policy, educating and driving the correct behaviors of business stakeholders
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with our internal customers and suppliers
- Receive, review and process/validate purchase requisitions for goods and services whilst verifying compliance with corporate policy/channel, documentation and need for the buy
- Acts as a liaison in dealings between vendors and requestors, including expediting.
- Proactively support effective delivery of Indirect Procurement metrics by supporting projects and initiatives identifying root cause of issues and corrective actions
- Support Category and Stakeholders teams in identifying savings and e-catalog opportunities, running tenders and negotiations
- Constantly improve P2P process and any associated administration through creation and maintenance of catalogs, supplier onboarding, contract creation and maintenance, vendor performance dashboards, etc.
- Support Procurement activities related to new acquisitions
- Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects aimed at improving the efficiency of procurement processes
- Set-up and maintain supplier master data for procurement network
- Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. PR validation, vendor set-up, contracts maintenance, etc.)
- Support internal stakeholders and suppliers with SLM Tool or process requests
