Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, Rotating Shifts- Week 1 6AM- 2PM, Week 2 2PM- 10PM
6 Days Working Pattern

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work at one of our sites as a Warehouse Operative. As a Warehouse Operative, you will help with the production, packing and palletising of the meat product through the manufacturing process. The role is in an ambient or chilled manufacturing environment and all personal protective equipment will be provided including safety footwear, overalls and gloves.
Warehouse Operative- the role:
* Be comfortable working and packing in a busy indoor meat manufacturing area.
* Manual handling will be involved in this role including pushing and lifting
* Workers must be able to handle raw meat
* Workers must demonstrate reliability
* Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
* Can work to targets and deadlines and is flexible in their approach
* You must be comfortable with standing for long period
* Ability to complete required standard of work at full line speed.
* Able to work with and contribute as part of a large site team and to multi-task
* Work within the food safety/ health and safety and specific site regulations.
* Performs other duties as requested by Group Leader.
Warehouse Operative- hours of work:
* Rotating weekly: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
* Weekend Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 06:00- 18:00
* 6 day working (includes working every other Sunday)- 06:00- 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 06:00- 18:00
