About the Role:

To be a successful Store Manager you will:

Lead and inspire your team to be their best
Provide an atmosphere where delivering amazing service, achieving performance targets and accurate stock processes is at the core of everything you do, in an environment which is commercial, operationally efficient and safe
Demonstrate a hands-on approach for all operational and commercial activities alongside the team
Form part of an area team reporting to the Area Manager, playing a part in the growth and success of the brand by identifying opportunities and adding value
Ensure communication is up-to-date and accurate at all times in order to meet business needs

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Storemanr to join a team located in Riverwood NSW.

To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about warehousing operations, with knowledge of operational health and safety and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Picking, packing and distribution, whilst ensuring efficient and organised processes.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering with OH&S regulations,.
• Manage inventory control and implement systems to monitor stock levels, identifying and minimising discrepancies and ensuring accurate records.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
• Assist with the implementation of WMS, including RF Scanning and systematic procedures.
• Administration tasks as required.

Skills and Experience:
• Prior warehouse experience essential
• Strong knowledge of warehousing processes, procedures, and operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness is required as heavy lifting is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
• Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft programs.
• Current manual drivers’ licence (essential)
• Current Forklift licence (essential)

The Job

• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers
• Using specialist equipment such as the sawmill, paint mixers and forklifts
• We sell building materials, so there will be an element of manual handling, we can make reasonable adjustments if you need them
• Merchandising stock displays and replenishing shelves across the branch
• The contracted hours for this role are 37 or more
