The Role

The role of Warehouse Operative involves using a caddy system. The caddy is pre-programmed to travel around the warehouse on a monorail system. Once logged into, the caddy will direct itself and you to the locations where the items that are required need to be picked.

The system is advanced enough that if you place the wrong item or the weight is wrong, it will inform you.

Due to the delivery schedules for the retail customers, the role is targeted and it is a very physical role.

The role involves:
Picking and packing
Loading and unloading
Pallet stacking
Heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
To help you be successful in this role, you will receive up to two days of paid induction training.

This is a long term temporary contract with immediate start.

You will provide accurate and efficient order picking and processing of products for dispatch and quality checks of high value products in a clean modern facility.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.

Days Of Work: Monday - Friday
Hours Of Work: 0730-1600 (1 x Saturday a month 0900-1700 with a day off in the week)
Pay Rate: £11.44ph

This position is initially temporary but has the potential to become permanent, full time for the correct candidate.
