Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing supplier invoices, up to circa 500 per month.
- Handling supplier queries.
- Performing account reconciliation, journal posting, and reporting.
- Supporting the accountant with ad-hoc tasks and month-end accounts preparation.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Strong PC skills, particularly in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- The ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proven, previous experience as a purchase ledger
