An expanding manufacturing company is looking to enhance their finance function with the addition of a new Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger specialist.

Your new role
With specific responsibility for a portfolio of key suppliers, you will also be the key contact for setting up a growing number of complex new suppliers.
Looking after all aspects of the ledger, you will enjoy "sorting out reconciliations" and "getting to the bottom" of any discrepancies or queries whilst building relationships with the supplier contacts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced AP/PL specialist, one who enjoys working under pressure and to tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on ERP systems and will relish the opportunity to improve processes and controls.

Job Summary
The Assoc Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards.  Inbound positions receive products into the facility and outbound ships products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Pick large case items with material handling equipment or pick small unit of measure items and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in and/or send out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility may include order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.

Job Summary
The QIC Associate analyzes existing inventory and resolves inbound discrepancies in order to drive the operational efficiency of warehouse operations. Validates inbound shipments, creates standard inventory reports and forecasts, and leads regular cycle counts. By ensuring the quality and efficiency of inventory management, this job contributes to customer satisfaction and minimizing the facility’s expenses.

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound products from manufacturers and checks packing slips to ensure that the quantity of product matches the slips and the order placed. Enters and validates product data in the database and releases product for use in the facility.
• Develops forecasts of inventory based on customer demand, orders, and shipment speeds of various products and manufacturers.
• Places electronic orders based on inventory reporting and forecasting. Communicates with manufacturers as necessary to provide additional order information.
• Monitors inventory levels continually and runs reports from database to analyze slow-moving products, fast-moving products, and expiration date data.
• Evaluates quantity discrepancies and quality issues, such as damaged products and enters issues into database and contacts manufacturers to identify and resolve the issue and, as necessary, escalates the issue to the Manager
• Monitors expired product, returns and transfer of product

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred
• High School Diploma/ GED preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional client services, operating as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager, performing operational and transactional functions, handling client service issues, issuing approvals for desk transactions as well as opening and closing the store. The Sales Lead will refer all duties which require managerial experience and/or approval to the Store Manager (e.g. disciplinary action, hiring, and terminating associates).

Sales Lead Responsibilities

In addition to Sales Associate roles of providing excellence in delivering the Client Experience, the Sales Lead is responsible for supporting the Store Manager and CO-Manager in overseeing the operational functioning of the store including, but not limited to:

• Supporting the business strategy & adjusting to effectively reach goals
• Driving revenue by proactively managing the client experience while effectively performing Manager On Duty responsibilities – Assuming the MOD role when Store Manager/Co-Manager is not on the floor
• Utilizing tools to ensure a client-focused team environment
• Driving volume & anticipating clients’ needs while communicating store metrics & individual performance to motivate associates
• Coaching Associates “in the moment” on client interactions & performance to maximize productivity & capture client opportunities
• Possessing keys to the store, performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of management (e.g., opening/closing registries, opening checkli9sts, bank deposits, filling in, recovery, cleaning, retrieves/send email, review AT Web, accepts/receives shipment
• Assuming PIN and signature privileges for register functions requiring approval
• Utilizing reports to make effective merchandising decisions & style the store in Division standards
• Leveraging tools, assessing and taking action to drive operational excellence through Stanard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through scheduling appropriately
• Complete daily tasks to ensure store runs smoothly and meets all ANN INC. standards and guidelines
• Reports to work as scheduled; records time worked accurately by using ANN INC.’s Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business
• Embraces fashion, understands current market trends and is able to articulate them using ANN INC. interpretations in every client interaction. Represents the brand by adhering to ANN INC.’s dress code guidelines
• Treats others fairly and with respect, valuing differences

Position Requirements:

• Client Service: Ensures that the client remains the top priority while balancing required tasks and overall store operations
• Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines
• Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability toimplement and maintain with ANN INC.’s guidelines
• Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error. Ability to prepare nightly deposit as necessary. Captures accurate information for all transactions including signatures, addresses, and original receipt data
• Communication: Communicates effectively with Clients, Members of Management, Buyisness Partners, and Store Associates
• Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts
• Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally. Maneuver effectively around sales floor, stock room and office

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience with another retailer in a position of sales associate or higher
• Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred
