At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work with a large retail company in the ST5 area.

Shift Patterns:

• Rotation ( one week Mornings 06:00am - 14:30pm and following week afternoons 14:30pm - 23:00pm )

Pay Rates

• The pay rate is £12.50 per hour with Overtime rate £18.75

As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:

• Good level of English
• Good with numeracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to details
• Be eligible to work full time in the UK

• General picking and packing
• Despatching items
• Sorting items
• Stock Control overviewing

Warehouse Operative Nights

Pay

• £13.00 to £14.95 per hour - weekly pay

Working from 6pm - 11 hour or 12 hour shifts any 5 from 7 which includes weekends

• Ongoing regular work

Duties of a Night Warehouse Operative

• Picking and Packing
• Bulk Picking
• Using a PPT or putting parcels onto pallets
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Working as part of a team
• Using an RF Scanner

Experience of a Night Warehouse Operative

• Ideally worked in a warehouse before using a PPT, LLOP or RF Scanners
• Order picking
• Physical work
• Loading and unloading - Stacking goods on a pallet
• Logistics distribution and supply chain background an advantage

Detail of a Night Warehouse Operative

Working nights from 6pm start for a 11 or 12 hour shift - plenty of hours of work

Working any 5 from 7 - from Monday to Sunday - Nights only - will possibly increase to 6 shifts per week during peak and does include weekends

£13.00 to £14.95 per hour - weekly pay

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out procurement activities using business ERP in accordance with approved procedures
• Ensure procurement activities are carried out to maximise operational support underpinned with cost control strategies
• Action aircraft defect and stock material requisitions through to delivery
• Expedite open orders with suppliers and freight partners 
• Monitor and manage supplier delivery performance including quality and cost control
• Clearing goods inward rejections and invoice queries
• Other duties as requested by the Head of procurement and Logistics.
